On Christmas Eve, we announced Shura as one of our ‘Ones To Watch’ for 2015, and her new visual for Indecision proves her place on our list entirely.
Discussing the post-modern theme of gender-identification, a subject that gets very little, if any coverage in the mainstream music-world, the video is as striking as the track itself, and ultimately absolutely shines further brightness onto Shura. The song is a shimmering slice of funk-inspired electro-pop, and whilst the video may not support that from a wholly visual standpoint, it’s the thought-provokeness of the clip that’s certain to drive further enquiry (and inquiry) regarding Shura and her output. It’s subtle, yet clever, and is perfectly just what the modern-day landscape needs.
