Sydney-based duo Cosmo’s Midnight (aka twins Patrick and Cosmo), have unveiled brand new track Snare.
Premiered by Line of Best Fit earlier today, Cosmo’s Midnight caught our attention early last year via Aussie radio station Triple J, and since then, have worked their way amassing a following thanks to their impressive remixes alongside quality output of their own material.
Snare continues where their previous material left off; a subdued attempt of lo-fi electronica, that builds as the track progresses. With a sound that also crosses over to the nu-garage field, Snare seems almost Disclosure-meets-Flume-meets-Peking Duk-esque, whilst London-based Wild Eyed Boy’s assisted vocals only add further intelligence to the piece.
