Mapei’s Don’t Wait may already be over a year old (time has seriously flown this year!!), but that doesn’t mean it’s long-forgotten – instead, in our eyes, the track is still up there as one of the most amazing debuts we’ve heard in recent times.
And it therefore goes, with a track like Don’t Wait under the belt, you wait with baited breath for every smidgen of new music you can get from someone like Mapei, and today she doesn’t disappoint.
Taking to a cover of Outkast’s Prototype (itself over a decade old!), Mapei makes the track sound slicker than we ever thought it could, and completed it with a video almost as cool as the original. Shot exclusively for Transmitter, check the full rendition below.
Wonderful stuff!
