That’s it folks, the pandemonium is now over, and tickets to next year’s Glastonbury Festival have now sold out.
Last Wednesday, 15,000 coach & ticket packages sold out within 14 minutes of going on sale, however all eyes were on the mad rush this morning (5th October), where the remaining 130,000 opportunities became up for grabs.
Selling out in record time (again!), this time of only 28 minutes, many music fans were left disappointed after an influx of visitors at 9am caused many to receive the dreaded ‘overload’ page on ticket seller See Tickets’ website, with many taking to Twitter to either vent their frustration or rejoice in their success in snapping up their prizes.
Glastonbury Festival has yet to confirm any of the appearing acts for next year’s event, though rumours are flying high with bookmakers placing odds on the likes of Coldplay, AC/DC, Foo Fighters and many more to headline the iconic event which runs from 24-28th June 2015.
For those who did not end up victorious, all may not be lost however. As per previous years, it’s likely a ticket ‘resale’ event will take place at some point next Spring, allowing punters a second chance with securing their own passes to the 5-day extravaganza.
