With Glastonbury fans gearing up for the stampede to purchase tickets on Sunday, rumours are starting to fly around who’s likely to appear at next year’s mammoth event.
According to bookmakers William Hill, Fleetwood Mac are the most-likely to close the festivities on the Sunday night, whilst rockers AC/DC are also heavily rumoured. Meanwhile, odds on the Foo Fighters as well as Coldplay are also in the running (the former of which we’ve also heard from multiple sources as potentially likely, but none confirmed as yet).
Last week, Lionel Richie also expressed his interest at playing Glastonbury, telling The Sun “I heard 175,000 people watched Dolly so we need to do it next!”
Back on the headline-front, aside from William Hill, Ladbrokes are also waging their bets on a Fleetwood Mac appearance, with Prince also in the front-running too.
Many fans expressed that whilst this year’s Glastonbury Festival was a success, Metallica’s Saturday night headline slot pigeonholed many, with some claiming that their ‘true headliner’ was indeed Dolly Parton’s ‘Legends’ slot on the Sunday afternoon.
Registration for Glastonbury 2015 closes at midnight tonight – head over to Glastonbury’s official website to get your registration in asap!
