New music: Glass Animals – ‘Hazey’

Frequent visitors to Stagedoor FM should be well-acquainted with Glass Animals, one of our favourite bands to emerge this year (their strong debut Gooey can frequently be heard in our office), so it’s refreshing to hear their new song Hazey loses none of that Glass Animals magic.

Keeping lead singer Dave Bayley’s whispy vocals at the forefront (yet ironically, in the background too, such is the ‘Glass Animals way’), Hazey appears on the British group’s debut record ZABA.

We managed to catch an intimate Glass Animals show in the Crows Nest bar at Glastonbury this year, and we can absolutely tell you, they bring an interesting new energy to submersive-soulful alt/rock; definitely something you need to witness for yourself.
