George Maple’s Snakehips’-collaboration on On & On undoubtedly became one of our summer anthems of 2013, so we’re overjoyed to hear some new music from the young Australian singer/songwriter.
The charming Talk Talk, which fuses elements of Maple’s gorgeous tones, (alongside some chorus-assisted vocal manipulation) hears a sublime mid-tempo alternative electronica that, whilst may not be the most cutting-edge of releases, definitely helps to showcase her strength as a formidable vocalist.
Talk Talk has been confirmed as the first single from George’s forthcoming EP Vacant Space (out on Future Classic). The EP drops in October, whilst Talk Talk is available now, so hit the iTunes link to download:
