Ex-JLS star Marvin Humes is said to be on the cusp of signing a “big bucks” label contract with the intention to release an album of new material this year.
Speaking to the Daily Star’s James Ingham, The Voice UK host confirmed that the new project will see him in multiple guises – “I am the producer, the writer and the DJ on this project – a bit like Calvin Harris and Avicii who are killing it around the world” said Humes, continuing “That’s where I want to be….I’m not the singer. I’ve been working on it for 18 months”.
The singer, who currently presents the Vodafone Big Top 40 on Capital FM, also confirmed he has been working with MNEK on the new material alongside the rest of his old JLS cohorts. “Every single song will feature a different artist…. I have my eyes on a lot of people and I have already recorded with a few of them.”
