Alongside the Glastonbury announcement, Elba also confirmed his intention to head back into the studio to record a string of new material, and also mooted a discussion with Robert de Niro regarding creating a body of work ‘based on’ Vito Corleone, the fictional character from The Godfather series of novels & movies.
Glastonbury officials are still yet to announce the full line-up for this year’s iconic event, however have promised all artists will be confirmed ‘in April’. Currently Arcade Fire are the only headline acts announced, with The Black Keys, Dolly Parton, Blondie, Lily Allen, Stanton Warriors and Gorgon City amongst the other artists also confirmed.
