A third person, identified as Sandy Le, has died following last week’s tragedy at the SXSW Conference in Austin, Texas.
Late Wednesday evening (Pacific-time), drunk driver Rashad Owens sped through barricades at the annual music and creative event, critically injuring many alongside two instant fatalities.
Owens, who was arrested soon after, will now face three counts of murder alongside 22 counts of ‘aggravated assault with a vehicle’ should he be found guilty of the attack.
Read our initial report with the full story, here. We send the deepest sympathies and condolences to the family of Sandy Le, alongside the families of Steven Craenmehr (35) and Jamie Ranae West (27) who were both also fatally killed in the incident.
