Following their prestigious win of the ‘Godlike Genius’ gong at last night’s NME Awards, Blondie have confirmed their attendance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
The announcement was revealed by the iconic band’s frontwoman Debbie Harry, who told UK newspaper Metro “We just heard today – we’re going to be doing Glastonbury.”
Whilst it’s unconfirmed as to whether Blondie will be appearing in the headline slot, their importance and iconic status within the music scene certainly leads to a main-stage appearance.
