[EXCLUSIVE] Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Rihanna and Jay-Z create new supergroup, confirm album and world tour

We’ve been dying to break this for days now and thankfully the embargo has now been lifted.

During our interview on Saturday (to be published shortly), Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Beyonce and Jay-Z have exclusively revealed to Stagedoor FM some news that would get even the smallest music-lover excited. Yep, that’s right, the foursome have announced that as of later this year, they will be teaming up for a global tour AND a joint album.

In the frank interview, Beyonce opened up by saying “It’s something we’ve been dying to do for years, and now we feel we’re all at the point of our careers that we can undergo this project. For [husband] Jay and I, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. With studios and tours looming, we’re being separated a huge amount – going on tour together seems so right; Blue Ivy will be backstage so whenever Jay and I are on stage, then JT can look after her, and then we’ll swap. It’s all coming together very nicely”.

Rihanna added “I’m so excited by the project; I haven’t been in the studio since December 2012 which feels a lifetime away – plus I only have one album planned this year which as you know, for me, isn’t enough. I’m trying to get Chris [Brown] to join in on the tour but I think he wants to enjoy his free-house when I’m gone. Oh well”.

More on this exciting news, and info on the tour dates, as soon as we get it.
