Watch Episode 5 of ‘Ja’mie: Private School Girl’

Episode 5 of hit Australian sitcom Ja’mie: Private School Girl has aired in its homeland.

The latest episode sees lead character Ja’mie King (played by Chris Lilley) returning to Hillford Girls’ Grammar School after time off with depression following her break-up with short-term boyfriend Mitchell; whilst trouble is in the air for friend Kwame and sister Courtney after the latter’s prank on Ja’mie goes wrong.

Arguably one of the strongest tracks on Disclosure’s brilliant debut album Settle (and featuring vocals by Sasha Keable, one of Stagedoor FM’s ‘14 for 2014‘), Wookie’s remix adds a lighter, fun, undertone to the already-brilliant anthem.

Mutya Keisha Siobhan tease next release: ‘A song we haven’t performed live before’

Reformed original Sugababes Mutya Keisha Siobhan have teased more information regarding the forthcoming follow-up to September’s Flatline.

The song, whilst not officially announced as yet, is set to be a brand new track. Speaking with MSN earlier, singer Siobhan (Donaghy) said of the new release, “The only thing I can say is that the next single will be something we’ve held back, that no-one’s heard yet.”

This affirms the news the girls gave during an interview in September with Rob Copsey at Digital Spy, where Siobhan again said “It might be something that no-one has heard yet. A song we haven’t performed live before…”

The trio have just completed their sold-out ‘Sacred Three’ mini UK tour to rave reviews. Whilst we hear things may not be all as rosy as we hope in the MKS camp, we can’t wait for the release of the second single, along with new LP. Let’s just hope they have the right team around them now to ensure a stronger chart position than Flatline earned.

James Arthur covers Drake’s ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’

Whilst the star is keeping a low-profile in his homeland due to controversial tweets last week, James Arthur took to Dutch radio station 3FM earlier today, unveiling his cover of Drake’s Hold On, We’re Going Home.

We’re not sure, at this stage, as to whether the performance was for a Dutch version of Radio 1’s Live Lounge or if it was Arthur’s choice to favour the track versus one of his own, however this performance is pure gold, just like everything Arthur touches it seems (bar, perhaps, Twitter that is).

Third ‘Robocop’ trailer unveiled

The third trailer to the forthcoming remake of 80s movie Robocop has been unveiled.

The trailer for the movie, which is slated for an early-February 2014 release, shows a stronger focus on lead character Alex Murphy (played by Joel Kinnaman).

Kinnaman leads an all-star cast for the new motion picture, including Samuel L Jackson and Gary Oldman; trailer #3 is sure to drum up already-heightened hype on the new movie. Combined with the previous two clips, Robocop is shaping up to be one of the strongest movies of 2014.

India Arie has premiered the official video to new single Break The Shell.

The video for the track, taken from her fifth studio LP Songversation, follows the soul singer through a fly-on-the-wall look at her life on tour over the past few months along with a multitude of personal moments too.

Listen to Boyzone’s new album ‘BZ20’ before its official release

Irish boyband (now manband) Boyzone have reformed (minus of course Stephen Gately) for new album BZ20.

Speaking with Digital Spy, member Shane Lynch said of the new material “We definitely sound very different compared to previous albums, just for the fact we’ve lost one of our vocalists, so dynamically it has to change anyway….. As far as musical direction is concerned, I think we’re allowed to be a little less pop…..Although we still are pop, we are now knocking on for 40 so we can throw in there some slightly more traditional folky stuff. It’s a nice push forward.”

After a large campaign of teasing, Katy Perry has premiered the official video to her latest single Unconditionally.

Taken from the US singer’s massively successful new album Prism, Unconditionally was actually released earlier in October, however sans an official visual (bar a supporting lyric video).
