Watch Ariana Grande’s new video for ‘breathin’

Ariana Grande has lifted the lid on the music video for her ‘breathin’.

Taken from her latest studio album, ‘Sweetener’, the visual comes less than a week since the singer shared ‘thank u, next’, the title-track (and first song) from her upcoming new record of the same name.

Opening with Grande at a bar, the visual then sees the singer step foot into a train terminal, with some fans now suggesting that the bus departure board shares clues on the track-titles of her recently-announced album (‘Needy’, ‘Remember’ and ‘Imagine’ all crop up).

Listen: Erykah Badu shares ‘Money Can’t Buy Me Love’

Six years ago, Erykah Badu surprised fans by playing an unreleased song at her live shows. Titled ‘Money Can’t Buy Me Love’, the song (penned alongside The Cannabinoids), has been a live-only cut, but today Badu has shared what seems to be a more studio-focused rendition of the song.

Premiered during the mid-point of Badu’s ‘The Sound Of Green’ mix for London-based NTS Radio, the track comes ahead of her recently-announced US tour which will see her play various dates in December and February. She last graced the UK back in the summer when she headlined Lovebox Festival.

Chase & Status announced as first SW4 2019 headliners

Chase and Status have been announced as the first headliners for 2019’s South West Four festival in London.

Set to return to Clapham Common following their breathtaking closing performance earlier this year, Will and Saul will make their SW4 mark with a festival exclusive of their new RTRN II JUNGLE show, which will follow on from the album of the same name, set to be released in early-2019. They will once again close the two-day event on Sunday 25th August.

Tourist has closed off 2018 with a slice of serenity, courtesy of his beautiful new song ‘Someone Else’.

Releasing the follow-up to September’s ‘Apollo‘ earlier today, the producer says of his latest endeavour, “Someone Else’ I guess is a dust clearing moment. It will probably make more sense in the context of more of my upcoming music, but I suppose this impressionistic piece is really the summation of my interest in indie music (whatever that means) and electronic music (whatever that means also)”.

One quick glance at his Spotify finds a treasure trove of gorgeous gems, and today he shares his latest trippy vision, hooking up with LA’s Syd B for his vibey ‘The Middle’.

Quietly hitting streaming platforms earlier today, ‘The Middle’ follows April’s excellent ‘Gone Clear’, itself which came off the back of last year’s ‘Motion’ EP (we’d highly recommend checking out the Tayla-featuring ‘Daydreams‘, our highlight from the project).

Benicassim announce first acts for 2019, including The 1975

Organisers of FIB Benicassim’s annual Spanish festival have announced the first wave of acts for its 2019 return.

Set to take place between 18-21st July, 2019’s Benicassim will see a headline appearance from Lana Del Rey (who by then will have released her anticipated new album ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell’). The 1975 and Blossoms have also been revealed to perform too, alongside La M.O.D.A., CUPIDO, and Cariño.

Defected Croatia levels up with a second artist announcement for its 2019 return, adding the likes of Dennis Ferrer, Joey Negro, Masters At Work, Amine Edge & DANCE, DJ Gregory and many more to their already-exhaustive line-up.

The fourth instalment of the festival in Tisno, Croatia, which runs between 8th-13th August 2019, now features over 50 DJs and artists representing quality house music around the world, with more promised to be added early next year.

During the year that sees Defected celebrate 20 years of house greatness with the slogan HOUSE MUSIC ALL LIFE LONG, the 2019 festival promises to be the best and most comprehensive offering yet.

The latest announcement pulls together international headliners such as MK and Claptone with legendary pioneers of the scene like Brian Tappert, John Morales, Mark Farina, David Penn, Spen & Karizma plus young underground talent in the form of Mat.Joe, Folamour, Dan Shake, Monki, Shiba San and Josh Butler. They join Armand Van Helden making his festival debut, Nightmares On Wax, Derrick Carter, Roger Sanchez and the rest of the unmissable talent previously locked in.
