Bon Iver, First Aid Kit and more added to All Points East 2019 lineup

Having already revealed their opening day line-up of The Chemical Brothers, Little Simz and Little Dragon (among others), All Points East organisers have lifted the lid on some of the acts set to close the 10-day event next summer.

Set to be led by Bon Iver, London’s Victoria Park will also see the likes of John Grant, First Aid Kit and Mac DeMarco take to the stage on Sunday 2nd June. The Tallest Man On Earth and Snail Mail have also been revealed.

More names are expected to be announced over the coming weeks.

Fleetwood Mac announce second 2019 Wembley Stadium show

Fleetwood Mac have added a second date at London’s Wembley Stadium to their 2019 European tour.

Announced moments ago, the appointment of an additional show follows the quick ticket sell-out for their original slated date of 16th June. The latest show will see them return to Wembley two days later on 18th June.

Fleetwood Mac was founded by Peter Green in 1967 and was named after Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. After Peter Green left in 1969, Fleetwood and McVie remained as original members, and the band has since featured a varying cast – most notably, Christine McVie joined the band in 1970, with Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham joining in 1974.

Tickets go onsale this coming Friday, 16th November, with a presale kicking off tomorrow on 14th November. Check the full dates below:

Directed by Carly Cussen and Steff, the video comes hot on the heels of her ASCAP Vanguard Award win and news that her official debut single ‘Hurtin’ Me’ has been certified platinum.

Sade has shared her surprise new song ‘The Big Unknown’, lifted off the soundtrack to the new Steve McQueen movie, Widows.

Specifically written for the movie’s final scene, McQueen recently spoke of Sade’s contribution to the project, saying “It was an honour to work with such a legend. Sade is an incomparable talent and incredible artist who so rarely releases new material, but luckily the original series of Widows had deeply resonated with her.”

Robbie Williams announces first Las Vegas residency

Robbie Williams has announced his first ever Las Vegas residency, as he gears up for his return to the live circuit for 2019.

Set to hit the famous Strip’s Wynn resort, the aptly-titled ‘Robbie Williams Live’ will see the former Take That member reach Sin City for 6 shows next March.

“I’m beyond excited to announce my first ever residency in Las Vegas. To follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest entertainers of all time is a dream come true – I can’t wait.” said Williams, who is currently finishing the final leg of his The Heavy Entertainment Show Tour in South America (whilst also acting as a judge on the latest series of The X Factor).

Glastonbury 2019: Emily Eavis teases British male Friday night headliner

During her recent Q&A with Radio 2’s Zoe Ball, Emily Eavis let slip more clues on the line-up for 2019’s Glastonbury Festival.

So far, only a handful of acts have self-confirmed for Glastonbury, moreso just the smaller stages, however all eyes are now on headliners and the Sunday afternoon tea-time slot.

Speaking to Ball (with the full interview set to be broadcast on the afternoon of Saturday, 10th November), Eavis firstly confirmed that Fleetwood Mac will not be in attendance – “we have not booked Fleetwood Mac, it’s been close a few times and hopefully one day…”

She then teased “We’ve got a couple of blokes in next year… Madonna would be amazing”, before also revealing that the Friday night #Glastonbury headliner is a British male she’s very excited about at the moment – “we have a great British artist headlining on Friday night. He will become the enormous person he is”.

Glastonbury’s Emily Eavis confirmed for BBC Introducing Live Q&A Session

Glastonbury Festival’s Emily Eavis has been announced as one of the guest speakers at this weekend’s BBC Introducing Live in London.

With less than 9 months to go until Glastonbury returns after a one-year sabbatical, the festival-curator will be in conversation with Radio 2’s Zoe Ball to give a behind-the-scenes look at one of the biggest staples in the world music calendar.

According to a brief description on the event’s website, Emily will “reveal what goes on behind the scenes and the day to day reality of one of the coolest jobs on earth”. Fingers-crossed we’ll also get a teaser on who will be performing at 2019’s Glastonbury too.

The Q&A will be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 during Ball’s show in the afternoon of 10th November.
