Lion Babe have released their brand new single ‘Can’t Get Enough’.

Meshing frontwoman Jillian Hervey’s seductive vocals and mesmerising lyricism with melodic strings, the track builds to a dreamy, lo-fi Hip-Hop production from producer Lucas Goodman.

Of the song, the duo say “‘Can’t Get Enough’ explores the idea of revelling in heartbreak. It’s about the addictive cycle of replaying our life choices and vices.”.

Alongside the track, Lion Babe have confirmed their ‘Around The World, At Home’ virtual global tour, which will see the band partnering with live music venues and promoters around the globe to bring virtual, live performances across the globe! Each performance is free, and will stream via a select music venue’s Instagram channel per region, set to private for a more localised and personal experience, and will feature an opening performance by Danish, Grammy-nominated artist Kwamie Liv.

Glass Animals have announced details of their upcoming third studio album.

Titled ‘Dreamland’ and set for release on 10th July, the project, which follows 2016’s ‘How To Be A Human Being’, will contain past singles ‘Your Love’ and ‘Tokyo Drifting’. The band have also shared the album’s title-track, which you can hear below.

Glass Animals’-frontman Dave Bayley said of the new record – “The idea for this album came at a time of confusion and uncertainty. My best friend was in the hospital. I didn’t know if he’d make it. The future was damn scary and completely unknown…. During those weeks in the hospital, it was so difficult to look forwards that I found myself looking backwards. Digging around in my mind, pulling up old memories, finding comfort in them even if they were uncomfortable in themselves. Speaking to friends and family, I’ve realised that a lot of people are experiencing a similar sort of confusion now. Everything that we thought we could see clearly in front of us has been thrown into the air, and all the while, we can’t be out finding our footing. We can’t be out creating new memories, so…we’re diving back head-first into the old ones. I hear that in conversations. I see it in what people are watching on TV. In what we’re listening to. In what we’re eating. In dreams.”

One half of AlunaGeorge, frontwoman Aluna Francis has branched out on her own, sharing her solo debut single ‘Body Pump’.

With a debut album also on its way (and released via Diplo’s Mad Decent), Aluna describes her new solo career as a reinvention into her focus of dance music – “Having enjoyed being the main ingredient to many successful dance records, I started wanting to create the whole dish” she says.

“In the past when performing on the stages of my white male peers, I always felt like a visitor being one of the few Black women I could see, so it never fully occurred to me to claim dance music as my music, as an artist, even though it was at the heart of my connection to music…. Then I looked at the history of dance music and saw how, for example, Chicago House, known as the invention of house music, was pioneered in the Black and Latino LGTBQ+ communities which gave me inspiration to stake my flag in the ground as a Black woman in dance music by taking control of production and songwriting with my own vibe.”
