Ariana Grande announces new song, ‘Imagine’

Ariana Grande is already gearing up for new music less than two weeks on from the release of her record-breaking video for ‘thank u, next‘.

Expected to be titled ‘Imagine’, the song will reportedly be released this coming Thursday (13th December). “‘Imagine’ thursday night” the pop star candidly tweeted on Tuesday.

The release of the song follows the recent expansion of Ariana’s forthcoming ‘Sweetener World Tour’ which kicks off in March.

An unreleased new collaboration between James Blake and Outkast’s André 3000 has surfaced online.

During his headline show at New York’s Brooklyn Mirage on Saturday (8th December), James delivered a preview of some all-new material ahead of his anticipated new album expected at some point in 2019. A surprise came when André’s fire bars appeared on the unnamed song. The two artists previously connected on ‘Look Ma No Hands‘ earlier this year.

deadmau5 has been announced as the latest headliner for Liverpool’s Creamfields, in what organisers have confirmed as being a 2019 UK festival exclusive.

A regular attendee, the Canadian electro producer will head up the main stage on Friday 23rd August. He will join the previously-announced Swedish House Mafia who will play their only UK show at the festival on Sunday 25th August.

Tickets for Creamfields 2019, which runs across the August Bank Holiday weekend (22-25) go onsale Friday 14th December at 9am – check the announcement video below:

Arcadia announce 2019 London lineup

Arcadia organisers have announced the first-wave of names set to appear in London, when their acclaimed Metamorphosis show returns to Queen Elizabeth Park on the 2019 May Bank Holiday weekend.

Set to be the last chance to see the current show prior to an all-new event at Glastonbury the following month, 2019’s Arcadia will see the likes of Jamie Jones and Sasha light up the decks on the Saturday, whilst DJ EZ has announced his first show of the year, heading up the Sunday. He will be joined by Sub Focus, Flava D and Lethal Bizzle.

Following a brief teaser earlier in the week, Cher has announced her return to the UK with a run of live shows in 2019.

The ‘Here We Go Again’ tour, which follows appearances under the same umbrella in the US, will see the iconic singer play various shows in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Leeds across October.



“I’m very excited to bring this show to the UK,” Cher says. “It was the first country to embrace Sonny & Cher, and its where we created and had our first success with Believe. It’s really my second home.”

London’s O2 Arena have teased an upcoming reveal for Cher’s impending UK tour.

The iconic singer, who hasn’t performed in the UK for over 14 years, is expected to make the announcement of her UK shows on 11th December at 8am (GMT). Back in September, the performer marked her return to the music scene with an album of ABBA covers, which followed on from her appearance on the ‘Mamma Mia’ sequel, ‘Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again’
