The Stone Roses announce Wembley Stadium June 2017 show

The Stone Roses have added two more dates to their run of UK shows next summer.

Set to play London’s Wembley Stadium on 17th June, The Stone Roses will also hit the stage at the Belfast SSE Arena (13th June) and Glasgow’s Hampden Park (24th June). The two extra nights will also see them play in Leeds on 20th & 21st June.

Recently, Glastonbury Festival’s Emily Eavis confirmed that The Stone Roses will not be headlining the Pyramid Stage next year; consequently, instead all eyes are now fixed on 2017’s Leeds and Reading Festivals for a headline slot.

Earlier this year, the band headlined Scotland’s T In The Park, alongside a set of dates at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium; as expected, these shows sold out pretty quickly, so expect the 2017 dates to also go equally as swiftly too.

Tickets to the Leeds shows go onsale this coming Friday (9th December) at 9.30am direct from Ticketmaster UK – check the full schedule below alongside the ticket link too.

Audio: Krrum – ‘Never Be Like You’ (Flume Cover)

Krrum has turned Flume’s Never Be Like You completely on its head, flipping the track alongside a gothic indietronic backbed, and epic soundtrack-esque vocals.

This one’s pretty weird – give it a good couple of tries though and you’ll get where we’re coming from. Once you get over the surprise switch from its initial guise, you’ll find Krrum has delivered a joint that compliments and pushes forward Flume’s original.

Video: Kanye West and Chance The Rapper – ‘Ultralight Beam’ (live at MCD 2016)

Kanye West was the surprise guest at Chance The Rapper’s Magnificent Coloring Day festival over the weekend, hitting the stage to an excitable crowd for Yeezy’s Ultralight Beam.

The one day festival, organised by Chance, also saw guest performances from Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, Tyler, The Creator, and John Legend, among others, though it was Kanye’s appearance that brought the crowd to its knees. The set also saw West perform more of his own work, including Black Skinhead and Can’t Tell Me Nothing.

NAO announces new ‘NAO X’ collaborative project

NAO’s debut album For All We Know may have only just landed, but the Londoner has already shared details of her new sideline-project, NAO X.

Speaking exclusively to Ebro Darden on Beats 1, NAO teased that the new collection (which is still in the early stages) will see her collaborate with artists she admires, whilst affirming her love for Kendrick Lamar, Stormzy and Erykah Badu.

Catch the full teaser below, alongside NAO’s Beats 1 exclusive performance of Bad Blood; For All We Know can be streamed over on Apple Music right now:

Audio: James Hersey – ‘Miss You’ (HONNE Remix)

Following last month’s release of his Miss You debut, James Hersey has shared a new edit of the track courtesy of HONNE, a mellow and compassionate remix that fully showcases both talents to wonderful new realms.

Of the reinterpretation, the HONNE lads say “This remix came so easy. As soon as we heard James’ vocal we came up with that gentle rhythmic piano part that runs throughout. Something that never ceases to amaze us is how new chord sequences can add to or shift the sentiment of lyrics, and we really enjoyed playing with that for this.”.

Gallant delivered a triumphant set on his UK TV debut earlier this week, joining the likes of Jamie T, Madness and Beth Orton on the latest episode of BBC2’s ‘Later… With Jools Holland’.

Catch his gorgeous performance of Weight In Gold below:

Audio: Emeli Sande – ‘Hurts’ (Offaiah remix)

Just over a week back, Emeli Sande affirmed her return to the world with the incredible Hurts, the lead single to November’s forthcoming Long Live The Angels.

Now, fresh from the success of his superb Trouble debut, Offaiah’s been left to throw out the first official remix, and it fucking bangs! Speaking to Complex (who premiered the edit earlier today), Offaiah said of the remix “This is a great, evocative number. I knew within 20 seconds I wanted to make this my first remix. I’ve turned down everything at this point but Emeli is a great artist and the song is really special. All the best to her.”.

Bump this one loud below:

Audio: Boston Bun – ‘Get Into It’ (ft Loreen)

Like the Ed Banger Records imprint he so proudly represents, Boston Bun really hasn’t put a foot wrong over the years. Ever since the release of his debut Housecall EP back in 2012, the Parisian (real name Thibaud Noyer) has been pushing the boundaries of French house in ways that’s as forward-thinking as they are tasteful and soulful, and today he ups the ante once again by hooking up with vocalist Loreen for the more-than-delightful Get Into It.

Annie Mac dropped the premiere on her Radio 1 show last night, so already that gives you an idea on how respected Noyer is as a staple in the genre, but make up your own mind below. You can also stream the ‘1994 version’ underneath too (which is equally as exciting):
