Watch Beyonce’s breathtaking performance from last night’s TIDAL X concert

Beyonce capped off potentially the final point of her Formation World Tour last night (if you discount the Coachella rumours, that is), to deliver a trio of hits at the second helping of TIDAL’s now-annual TIDAL X concert.

Opening with 6-Inch (alas minus a cameo from The Weeknd), Bey then delivered a slick rendition of Haunted, lifted off her 2013 self-titled LP. Beyonce then surprised fans by returning to the stage for a second performance, closing TIDAL X with All Night alongside a speech reminding (and encouranging) fans to vote in the upcoming Presidential Election.

Live stream TIDAL X 2016 ft Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Lauryn Hill and more

TIDAL’s second TIDAL X concert kicks off later this evening, hitting Brooklyn’s Barclays Center with the who’s-who the music spehere, and you can stream the entire thing from your sofa.

Featuring the likes of Lauryn Hill, Emeli Sande, Common and Beyonce, the show is available to everyone, not just restricted to TIDAL members (clearly Jay Z’s streaming service has taken cues from the recent Apple Music Festival in London).

All the action will kick off at 8pm ET (1am GMT on 16th October), and will also see appearances from Alicia Keys, T.I., Dev Hynes (Blood Orange) and DNCE. You can check the full lineup at the top of this page, whilst the full stream can be found below:

Last week we brought you the excellent Drip, the opening cut from Hurley Mower’s upcoming Home Cooked EP.

Though still on heavy rotation, the Chicago-native has already decided to share the follow-up, delivering his new project’s title-track fresh from TheSoundYouNeed’s independent imprint. Though offering a more ethereal soundscape versus Home Cooked‘s opener, the song still showcases Mower’s diversity for future sounds – there’s a glimmering twinkle throughout, with a gorgeous electric guitar emphasis toward the outro. This may not bang like Drip, but it’s definitely one you’d be nuts to avoid. Stream below:

Ok, we’re a bit late to the game with this one (we have zero excuse as to why), but you’d be nuts to ignore young French newcomer Petit Biscuit.

Having grown a loyal fanbase across all his socials (his Spotify already garners over 1.5m monthly streams!), the 16 year old has now shared the official video for Sunset Lover ahead of the vinyl re-release of his debut EP.

Essentially, Sunset Lover is simply-smooth electronica at its finest; it’s eeriely emotive (regardless of its lack of vocals), and sets a wonderful pace for the new project which portrays various elements of the genre’s entire soundscape.

Glastonbury 2017: Daft Punk confirmed to headline?

Daft Punk are [once again] strongly-tipped to be the Friday night headliners for 2017’s Glastonbury Festival, according to “well-sourced information“.

efestivals (who historically have been spot-on with their festival rumours), ‘confirmed’ that sources had pointed to Daft Punk’s return to Glasto several months back, making light of the news in a recent article regarding Radiohead also topping the bill as the main headliner on the Saturday night:

“eFestivals currently believes that next year Radiohead will be given that opportunity to headline on Saturday. We also strongly believe The Stone Roses are the front runners to top the bill on Sunday, and while we are less certain on the third headlining act, we have had what should be well-sourced information several months ago, that it’s supposedly Daft Punk topping the bill on the Friday.”

If true, Daft Punk’s appearance will mark 10 years since they last graced Glastonbury’s Worthy Farm; earlier this month, a mysterious new website launched, believed to point to an announcement of Daft Punk’s impending 2017 tour. Guess we’ll find out more on 28th October!

Audio: Pete Tong & The Heritage Orchestra – ‘Your Love’

Last summer, Pete Tong enlisted Jules Buckley’s Heritage Orchestra to rework classic house tracks in a live environment at London’s Iconic Royal Albert Hall.

Such was the success of Tong’s self-curated ‘Ibiza Prom’ that the whole show has been earmarked once again at various venues across the UK later this year, and alongside the shows, Pete and Buckley have worked together to recreate various classic gems for the all-new album Pete Tong – Classic House.

In celebration of the project, the Radio 1 DJ/producer has unveiled his rework of Frankie Knuckles’ iconic Your Love, reuniting with original vocalist Jamie Principle to bring the song up to 2016 standards.

The full album drops toward the end of November but you can hear Your Love straight away below; the track also comes as an instant free download when you preorder the collection over on iTunes/Apple Music:

A guestlist of A-star musicians came together to pay tribute to Prince last night as the likes of Christina Aguilera, Morris Day and The Time, Chaka Khan and Stevie Wonder (among others) all graced Minnesota’s Xcel Energy Centre to a packed-out crowd.

Catch some of the highlights below – a majority of the performance were also delivered alongside Prince’s side-acts The New Power Generation and 3RDEYEGIRL. Now THIS is what we call a tribute gig!
