There’s no denying how solid Rihanna’s Love On The Brain is in its original guise, however today the song gets pushed a little closer to the dancefloors with thanks to a slew of official new remixes.

Don Diablo leads the pack followed by Gigamesh, however it’s the latter two edits from Australia’s RY X, alongside the closer by John-Blake that really drives us nuts.

These are definite must-listens; unconventional yet completely ‘right now’ in support of where the electronic scene seems to be heading.

Daft Punk and The Stone Roses are definitely NOT headlining Glastonbury 2017

Daft Punk and The Stone Roses will definintely NOT be headlining Glastonbury 2017, festival curator Emily Eavis has confirmed.

Speaking with NME earlier today following the confirmation of Radiohead’s headline slot, Eavis said “There’s no more [headliner] announcements now for a while, but I will tell you the other two that have been rumoured aren’t happening…. There was a news story that said Daft Punk and Stone Roses. That’s not true. I don’t know where that came from.”

Whilst this is indeed disappointing news, one should still remember the other 99 stages that make up Worthy Farm every summer – a Stone Roses support slot prior to a headliner could still be achievable, whilst a Daft Punk headline show on The Other Stage shouldn’t be discounted either (don’t forget, when Eavis mentioned ‘headliners’, a majority of the time this is focused purely on The Pyramid Stage).

Glastonbury 2017: Radiohead confirmed to headline

As the rumour-mill continues to spin for next summer’s Glastonbury comes the news that Radiohead will be returning to the farm to headline the Pyramid Stage on Friday 23rd June.

Announced moments ago, Radiohead’s appointment marks the first official concrete newspiece for Glastonbury 2017, and follows the group’s other European headline shows across the summer, including Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Portugal’s Nos Alive Fest.

Radiohead have long-since been rumoured to return to the Pyramid Stage, even moreso following the release of their recent LP A Moon Shaped Pool earlier this year. Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis also hinted at the group’s appearance prior to this year’s festival during a talk at the Oxford Union back in May, asking the audience “Do you like Radiohead? They’re good aren’t they?”.

More as we hear it – Glastonbury  2017 returns to Somerset’s Worthy Farm on 21-25 June. You can also watch Radiohead’s epic 1997 headline set, below:

Within the most recent part of his career, Porter Robinson has become synonymous with showcasing his love for Anime throughout his own visuals and his live shows, however today he brings Madeon into his world by dropping the official video for their superb August collaboration Shelter.

Both producers have also shared their take on the mythical visual, saying the Shelter visual “tells the story of Rin, a 17-year-old girl who lives her life inside of a futuristic simulation completely by herself in infinite, beautiful loneliness. Each day, Rin awakens in virtual reality and uses a tablet which controls the simulation to create a new, different, beautiful world for herself. Until one day, everything changes, and Rin comes to learn the true origins behind her life inside a simulation.”

The original story was also conceptualised by Robinson himself too.

At the turn of the month, Le Youth shared his vibrant 90-inspired Me Without You, a breezy cut that fully erred toward the uplifting Hed Kandi/Defected crowds whilst also pitching the US producer as a force to reckon with for big sun-drenched bangers.

Fast-forward a couple of weeks, and UK-based Ghosts Of Venice has brought the track back a further decade, giving an 80’s funk-led spin across the original with his shimmering new remix.
