Martin Solveig’s Places has received a once-over by our faves Icarus, with the Bristolian duo delivering a glistening rework of one of last autumn’s biggest dancefloor tracks.
Initially released toward the end of last year, Places has already received nods from the likes of Danny Howard and Clara Amfo, and we’d highly expect Icarus’ remix to go to even further climbs. You might also recognise the vocals too btw; Norwegian singer/songwriter Ina Wroldsen notably leant her vocals to Calvin Harris & Disciples’ How Deep Is Your Love back in 2015.
Calvin Harris has teased what seems to be an untitled collaboration with none other than Frank Ocean.
Previewed over on Calvin’s Snapchat yesterday, the collaboration is still completely unconfirmed, though Frank’s vocals are as clear as day! The track, if released, will mark Ocean’s first piece of new music since last year’s Blond/Endless double-project. Catch the preview below:
It’s been 12 years since Missy Elliott’s last studio album The Cookbook, and whilst all eyes had been on for a full-scale return after 2015’s WTF (Where They From), alas things started to simmer down soon after.
Fear not though as Missy is back once again with new song I’m Better. The track features Lamb, and comes with a ‘very Missy’ video (seriously, where DOES she find these directors?!). Oh, plus she’s also announced a new documentary too.

Following the surprise audio release back toward the end of last year, Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift have shared the official video for their new ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ joint I Don’t Wanna Live Forever.
Kasabian have been confirmed as the second headlining act for this summer’s Reading and Leeds Festival, joining the previously-announced Muse on the main stage later this year.
Marking a 2017 UK festival exclusive, Kasabian’s appointment also comes with a host of new names too. Fatboy Slim,recently confirmed as a Wild Life Festival headliner, can be found on the bill, whilst Flume, Wiley, Rat Boy and Two Door Cinema Club will join the existing line-up which also includes the likes of Andy C, Glass Animals, Danny Brown and Tory Lanez.

Following various teasers over the past couple of weeks, Jamiroquai have announced their return to the scene with their upcoming studio album Automaton.
Set for release on 31st March, the release has been preceded by the record’s title track which received it’s world premiere by Jo Whiley on her BBC Radio 2 show moments ago.
Alongside the new single, and album, Jay Kay and co have also confirmed plans for a one-off London show at Camden’s Roundhouse on 31st March, preceded by their first live show in six years at Pleyel in Paris three days prior. Jamiroquai have announced Cloud 9, the second single from their forthcoming Automaton LP.
Premiered on Ken Bruce’s BBC Radio 2 show earlier today, the unveiling comes ahead of Automaton‘s release later in the spring; recently Jay Kay and co have also been announcing a wealth of comeback shows too – their Roundhouse set (31st March) sold out in quick succession when tickets hit the web last week, whilst they’ll also be headlining Boardmasters later this summer too.
Major Lazer continue to drum up support for their fourth studio record Music Is the Weapon with Run Up, a new collaboration with PARTYNEXTDOOR and Nicki Minaj. According to various sources, the track is also the first excerpt from Diplo and co’s upcoming Sound Of Rum project, a new documentary series in collaboration with Bacardi.
Ed Sheeran has announced a string of UK and Ireland dates as part of his Europe-wide 2017 tour.
Kicking off in Dublin on 12th April, Ed will then travel to the UK, landing in Glasgow four days later, before gracing Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham and Birmingham. Sheeran will then close the UK leg on 1st and 2nd May with a double show at London’s O2.
**UPDATE: A third date at the O2 Arena has also been added due to overwhelming demand**
In order to combat any unfair and overpriced re-selling, Ed has also confirmed Twickets as the approved vendor for onward sales. In an email to his fanbase, he says “Also for this tour I’ve teamed up with a company called Twickets – which is a safe, sensible and fair place for people to sell or buy any spare tickets they have for the shows. Via Twickets, everything is at face value (or less), so you’re protected against fraud and hideous overpricing”.
Ed is currently sitting proudly at the top of the UK Official Charts with comeback-track Shape Of You; joint single Castle On The Hill is alsoat No.2, with both tracks lifted off his upcoming third studio album Divide, out in March.
