Stormzy has connected with Linkin Park for their new single Good Goodbye.
Lifted off next month’s One More Light, the track, which also features a guest verse from Pusha T, was the result of a chance conversation after the US band cited their love of the UK grime scene.
“We like Stormzy and we think that he’s dope,” Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington told Box Plus, adding “It required us reaching out saying ‘Hey, we like Stormzy, here’s a track if you would like to participate on it, that would be awesome.’
“Apparently he was like, ‘Yeah.’
“That wasn’t that difficult, but we knew of Stormzy and that’s why we reached out to him.”
“Little did we know that, he was about to take over the world.”
It’s just nine weeks until Glastonbury Festival opens its gates for the final time before next summer’s break, and whilst the full line-up is still a month or so away (March’s announcement was simply a tiny teaser), we’re starting to see more and more artists self-confirm their Worthy Farm presence for June’s soiree.
The latest act to add their name to the guestlist is definitely a tick for the house, bass and breakbeat-heads out there. Mafia Kiss (signed to Stanton Warriors’ Punks imprint) is the solo project of multi award-winning UK producer/DJ Paul Baron, whose groundbreaking style has gained him support from the likes of Diplo, Zinc, Hannah Wants, Monki and Deekline, among others.
It’s still unconfirmed which stage he’ll play (the producer quietly announced the news on his Facebook page earlier in the week), however 2016’s Glastonbury saw a Punks takeover at various venues, including the Spaceport, The Glade, Temple and Acid Lounge, so we wouldn’t be surprised if something similar was to crop up again for 2017.

Coachella 2017 kicks off in just a few hours, and whilst thousands have flocked to California to witness some of the world’s biggest acts in all their live glory, there’s countless others who wish they were there, but couldn’t make it to the desert for one reason or another.
Never fear though, because Coachella organisers are streaming over 80 acts on YouTube, and we’ve recreated the full schedule in GMT timezone so fans in the UK can sort out their alarms (you’re gonna need to be up in the early hours to witness a majority of these by the way!).
Top of our pics include Sampha, Stormzy and Bonobo (Saturday morning), Mura Masa (Sunday morning) and NAO, Goldlink and Kaytranada (Monday morning). Oh, and Kendrick Lamar’s headline set will stream at 06:45 on Monday too.

After a huge amount of anticipation, Kendrick Lamar shared his gritty fourth album, DAMN.
Featuring recent single HUMBLE (everything is in UPPERCASE with this project by the way), DAMN is an album full of urgency – scrap the jazz and soul-inspired sonics from To Pimp A Butterfly (‘FEAR’ is probably the closest bridge to both collections), this one throws you straight in with the direct BLOOD.

Last year, several buzz tracks from TLC’s upcoming album leaked online – up until recently though, any tidbits on the new project became hard to come by, however recently more information has fortunately started to creep out the woodwork (news which is surely set to excite those who crowd-funded the new collection over on TLC’s Kickstarter back in 2015). First off the mark, their new album (which is still untitled) now has a confirmed 30th June release…. and now we have the first official single too.
Announcement moments ago, the Snoop Dogg-featuring Way Back feels a complete continuation of some of their earlier work (think CrazySexyCool vibes). Alas there’s no vocals from Left Eye, which is a big shame (apparently the new album will be purely T-Boz and Chilli) but it’s still a solid start for the run-up to June.
After setting things alight with last year’s Kingdom, NAATIONS (aka Nat Dun and Nicky Night Time) have dropped their incredible new joint Alive, a track which follows their recent support slot for Galantis at London’s Brixton Academy.
The duo have fully reinvograted vocal-dance with this one – in a time when the genre has become fairly predictable, NAATIONS deliver something that’s likely to be as solid on the dancefloor as it will be with the mainstream.

Lifted off his acclaimed debut album Human, Rag’n’Bone Man’s latest single Skin gets a heavy DnB rework courtesy of Wilkinson. This one’s pretty nuts tbh; catch the video below:
After earning its stripes as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record at the turn of the year (alongside nods from the likes of Danny Howard, Greg James and more), NYC-based duo Just Us (aka Steven Lee and Carl Kennedy) have dropped the video off for Cloudbusting, their revamp of Kate Bush’s iconic track of the same name.
Riton’s massive Rinse & Repeat earned him a Grammy nomination after taking over the dancefloors last summer; and after sharing the follow-up Money earlier in the year, the producer’s now dropped off the track’s official video which is likely to help extend the banger’s lifespan well into festival season and beyond.

With the countdown now on for tomorrow’s release of Kendrick Lamar’s new album DAMN, it seems that some early copies have been distributed to some of K.Dot’s closest pals. One of those, LeBron James to be precise, has been teasing bits of the project over on his Instagram Story, and fortunately someone’s managed to grab all the 15-second teasers and piece them together into one handy preview.
