Lana Del Rey has shared one of the year’s most anticipated tracks by hooking up with The Weeknd for Lust For Life, the title-track from her upcoming studio record, set to land later this summer.
Speaking to Mistajam who premiered the song as his latest Radio 1 ‘Hottest Record’, the swooning joint sounds just what you’d expect from both artists – a breezy, swooning cut that’s as grandeur as it is intimate.

Ed Sheeran returned to BBC2’s ‘Later… With Jools Holland’ for the third time in his career earlier this evening, opening the show with his recent No.1, Shape Of You.
Last appearing back in 2014, Sheeran’s return to the show comes midway through his Divide UK tour, which will eventually see him stop at various points, including Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London.
Ed’s appearance will see him eventually perform three songs throughout the show, Shape of You, Galway Girl and a third, likely to be broadcast during the extended airing this Friday. Toward the end of the programme, host Jools Holland also confirmed Sheeran will reappear on the ‘Hootenanny’ New Year’s Eve special to close off 2017.

Glastonbury’s Block9 has announced its massive line-up in preparation for the area’s 10th anniversary later this summer.
Set to feature Masters At Work, Norman Jay and a DJ set from Nuyorican Soul, Block9 will also see the likes of Hercules & Love Affair and Heidi make an appearance, plus a live performance from Mykki Blanco. There will also be an additional showing from Rinse FM, with Artwork and Youngsta returning following last year’s successful sets – Loefah and Mumdance will also join the Rinse celebrations too.

Ed Sheeran will return to BBC2’s ‘Later… With Jools Holland’ series for the first time in almost three years.
Last appearing back in 2014 (and three years prior to perform The A Team), Sheeran’s return comes midway through his UK and Ireland tour, which will see him stop off at Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester and Birmingham, before concluding with four shows at London’s O2 Arena.
Philly-based duo Marian Hill will also be joining Ed on this week’s show, alongside Daymé Arocena, Valerie June and The Internet’s Syd.

Lorde returned to Coachella for the first time in three years last night as she debuted new music from her upcoming record Melodrama.
Both opening and closing the set with the project’s lead single Green Light, Lorde ventured through some of her early discography (Tennis Court, Ribs, Buzzcut Season etc) before sharing new songs Sober (which she previewed at a surprise show on Friday) and Homemade Dynamite.
Lorde has several festival appearances lined up for the year alongside Coachella, namely appearing for the first time at this summer’s Glastonbury one week on from June’s release of Melodrama.

Kendrick Lamar brought the first Coachella weekend to a close in a massive way last night, delivering cuts from his solid discography alongside giving the world’s first performance of music from his new album DAMN.

From Lady Gaga announcing new music during her headline slot all the way to Desiigner crashing on Mura Masa’s show, Coachella 2017 has already been a weekend fuelled with big surprises. However one guest appearance likely to be up there amongst the weekend’s highlights comes courtesy of Lauryn Hill, who cropped up midway during DJ Snake’s set.
The French producer had already welcomed Migos onstage earlier during the show (they performed ‘Bad and Boujee’), however it was Hill’s appearance that became the talk of the evening as she performed Killing Me Softly and Ready Or Not, before concluding with Lost Ones.
It was a pretty bizarre joining of the two acts, particularly without an actually musical collaboration between them, however the often-elusive Hill making an appearance at Coachella can never be shunned upon.
