Gorillaz have shared all-new track The Apprentice ahead of Friday’s release of their anticipated new album Humanz.

Featuring a stellar guestlist consisting of Rag’n’Bone Man, Zebra Katz and Ray BLK, the song comes part of the deluxe edition of the new album, which features further cuts with Zebra Katz plus the likes of Carly Simon, Peven Everett and Kali Uchis.

HAIM share another teaser for their impending new music

HAIM have shared a second teaser of new beats just a few days on from announcing their return to the music world. 

Shared via their official twitter account moments ago, the 90-second clip sees the group throw some percussion out against a darkened backdrop – last week’s trailer focused purely on Danielle whereas here all three siblings are in show. The teaser then confirms a 9am ET release this coming Thursday, 27th April (1pm GMT).

Today, just 24 hours on from his blondedRADIO 004 programme comes the fifth installment of his Beats 1 show, and he’s shared a new rework of Endless cut Slide On Me, this time enlisting new vocals from Young Thug.

Tori Amos announces new album and 2017 UK tour

Tori Amos has announced her new album alongside a Europe-wide tour later this year.

Set for release in September, Native Invader will see Amos hit multiple cities across the continent including two shows in the UK plus a headline performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Of the new record, the singer says “The songs on Native Invader are being pushed by the Muses to find different ways of facing unforeseen challenges and in some cases dangerous conflicts. The record looks to Nature and how, through resilience, she heals herself. The songs also wrestle with the question: what is our part in the destruction of our land, as well as ourselves, and in our relationships with each other?

In life there can be the shock of unexpected fires, floods, earthquakes, or any cataclysmic ravager – both on the inside and outside of our minds. Sonically and visually, I wanted to look at how Nature creates with her opposing forces, becoming the ultimate regenerator through her cycles of death and re-birth. Time and time again she is able to renew, can we find this renewal for ourselves?”

Glastonbury 2017: Final tickets sold in last-dash resale

The final allocation of tickets for this year’s Glastonbury Festival have sold out in quick time once again as festival goers pinned their last hopes on today’s resale.

Thousands of tickets became available at 9am this morning, quickly snapped up (in around 22 minutes) by fans looking to grace Worthy Farm in June for arguably the biggest event in the global festival calendar.

Tickets for Glastonbury 2017 originally went onsale in October last year, with all 135,000 selling out in less than 30 minutes.

Back in March, Glastonbury organisers shared the first batch of names for this year’s soiree, adding the likes of Lorde, London Grammar, Justice, Anderson .Paak, HAIM and Sampha to headliners Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters and Radiohead. Since then, various areas have also confirmed their own line-ups, including Avalon and Block9. Rumours are also starting to circle with the imminent announcement of the Silver Hayes guestlist, too.

Alongside confirming the shifting of all the tickets, Glastonbury Festival and See Tickets have also released a limited number of campervan tickets, tipis and Worthy View accommodation options – head over to the booking site now (expect these to go VERY quickly, mind).

Glastonbury 2017 will run from 21st-25th June, and will be the final year prior to its regular ‘fallow year’ rest period, before returning in 2019.

Frank Ocean has aired the fourth episode of his blondedRADIO show on Apple’s Beats 1, bringing along surprise new song, Lens.

Hearing a slightly different direction to his previous cuts Biking and Chanel, Lens hears a heavily-autotuned Frank crooning over a mellow R&B beat (to us it seems like a cast-off from the ‘Endless’ sessions, but that’s just our two-cents).

Near enough moments after announcing the track, Frank also shared a new version, this time enlisting Travis Scott, imaginatively-titled Lens V2.

Glastonbury 2017: Toddla T self-confirms

After tearing things up at London’s Village Underground last weekend, Toddla T has announced a host of summer 2017 UK festival appearances, including a return to Glastonbury.

Set to bring his ‘Toddla T Carnival’ to other areas of the UK (and beyond), the Radio 1 DJ’s appearance follows his Winter Carnival at Oval Space, last weekend’s Spring Carnival, and also sets a preview of his huge Toddla T Sound show at Notting Hill Carnival this coming August.

Check full dates below – the exact area at Worthy Farm is TBC, though date-wise, he’ll be hitting Glastonbury up on the first main evening, Friday 23rd June:

Glastonbury 2017: Irish folk band Beoga for Acoustic Stage

Irish folk five-piece Beoga have been confirmed for a Glastonbury 2017 appearance almost one year on from releasing their fifth studio album Before We Change Our Mind.

Announced by Ed Sheeran during his stint on BBC’s Later…With Jools Holland, the group will take to Glastonbury’s Acoustic Stage, around the corner from William’s Green (adjacent to the Kidz Field).

Beoga recently came to wider attention after teaming up with Ed Sheeran for Galway Girl, lifted off his third studio album Divide. They also appeared onstage with Ed during the latter’s sold-out show in Dublin earlier this month.

Dua Lipa has self-confirmed her return to Glastonbury for 2017, following last year’s set at the John Peel stage.

Revealed alongside a wealth of additional summer festival shows moments ago, the Hotter Than Hell singer’s confirmation comes less than 24 hours until the final ticket resale – Thursday’s ticket + coach combo resale saw passes fly out in less than 16 minutes, with tomorrow likely to be even quicker.
