HAIM’s long-awaited second album Something To Tell You lands on 7th July, and following last week’s reveal of ‘buzz video’ Right Now the trio have now announced the record’s official lead single.
Want You Back, which received its world premiere as Mistajam’s latest Radio 1 Hottest Record moments ago, comes ahead of their performance on SNL later this month, alongside their return to Glastonbury Festival in June.

BBC Radio 1’s B.Traits has announced her new ‘B.Traits Selects’ concept which will make its world debut on the closing day of this summer’s South West Four.
Set to hit Clapham Common on Sunday 27th August, the stage will see a selection of some of the underground’s most forward-thinking DJs and producers, all hand-crafted by B.Traits herself.
Confirmed names to appear include Dusky, John Digweed and B.Traits herself, plus George Fitzgerald going back-to-back with Agoria.

The original founding members of Artful Dodger (aka Mark Hill and Pete Devereux) have returned, reuniting under the new guise of Original Dodger.
After parting ways back in 2001 following the success of their debut album It’s All About The Stragglers, both Mark and Pete followed their own solo projects – Mark releasing music under The StiX (and later Artful) whilst Pete founded house/bass-collective DEVOLUTION. Now the duo have reunited with a set of original work set to be released later this summer, called Soundtrack.
With an album already in the pipeline, Soundtrack will set the scene, and will feature some of the finest in UK talent, including Big Narstie, Nadia Rose, Shakka and more.

Harry Styles has shared Sweet Creature as he gears up for next week’s release of his self-titled debut album.
Premiered as Zane Lowe’s latest ‘World Record’ on Apple’s Beats 1, the track is the second of ten songs to be revealed from Styles’ solo project following the Top 5 release of Sign Of The Times last month.

Beyonce has announced her limited-edition How To Make Lemonade collector’s item box set.
Set for dispatch later this summer (and available to preorder in limited quantities), the collection is priced at $299 (!!) and comes complete with a collector’s edition coffee table book, double vinyl LP, and audio and visual album downloads.
According to the press release, the 600+ page hardcover book includes hundreds of never-before-seen photos from the making of LEMONADE, and shows the inspiration and themes behind some of the film’s most provocative and cryptic moments. The foreword is written by Dr. Michael Eric Dyson with poetry by Warsan Shire. Beyoncé’s personal writing and lyrics are interwoven throughout the book.

Lucas Goodman (aka Astro Raw, aka one half of Lion Babe) has teased his just-announced mixtape by sharing lead joint U R My High.
Set as a prelude to the 14-track Rawmix Vol 1 project, scheduled to land this Thursday, U R My High showcases Lucas’ groove-led focus for his own vision of future-led hip-hop, a theme which is said to carry across throughout the rest of the colleciton which will include exclusive reworks of tracks from the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Busta Rhymes and Alicia Keys.

Janet Jackson has announced a wealth of tour dates following the mysterious countdown clock on her official website which expired in the early hours.
Revealed following an intimate video on her socials, the tour continues where her cancelled Unbreakable World Tour left off, and sees her stop at 56 dates across the US and Canada. Now retitled The State Of The World Tour, the date range adds additional venues on top of her previously cancelld sets. Everything kicks off on 7th September, and runs through until December.
Currently there’s no announcement yet in place regarding the rescheduling of her UK and European dates, but it’s unlikely Jackson would want to disappoint those fans, so we’re recommending you ‘watch this space’ in that respect.

Though still a month off from 2017’s visit to Worthy Farm, rumours are already starting to seep through regarding Glastonbury 2019, and even further beyond toward Glasto’s 50th anniversary in 2020.
Last month, organiser Emily Eavis revealed that two acts had already been confirmed to headline in 2020 as part of the festival’s 50th year. Now, in a new interview with NME, Adam Lambert has hinted how much he and Queen would love to be part of the 2020 celebrations – “I mean, I’m sure that if it were the right type of arrangement, I’m sure we would all be really, really honoured to be a part of Glastonbury.” said Lambert of a potential headline slot, continuing “I mean we’re trying to just do one year at a time! You know, because we’re pretty much booked for the rest of the year this year, so I don’t know.”
Speaking candidly about the bookings for the upcoming 50th anniversary, Eavis said “Ideally, we’d have a mix of old and new acts headlining. A bit of both. But, a lot can happen between now and then, and it’s about seeing who comes through and who would be right for us. It kind of depends, we’ve just got a little while, we’re not in any rush, but it’s quite exciting. It’s always good having something in the long term plans as well.”
Back to present-day though, and Glastonbury 2017 opens its doors in just over 7 weeks time. Yesterday the site’s ‘naughty corner’ at Shangri-La released their line-up, and it’s a dream for garage ravers! Check it out here.
Gorillaz have announced an expansion of their recently-revealed US tour as they bring their Humanz show to the UK and wider-Europe toward the end of this year.
Set to follow on from their secret London show back in March, and act as a continuation of their Dreamland festival in Margate this summer, the tour will see Damon Albarn and co hit Brighton, Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham, before concluding in December for two performances at London’s O2 Arena.
The Humanz Tour (titled after their first new album in seven years, released last week) will see Murdoc, Noodle, Russel Hobbs and 2D joined on stage by the Gorillaz live band – Damon Albarn, Gabriel Wallace, Mike Smith, Jesse Hackett, Jeff Wootton, Karl Vanden Bossche, Seye Adelekan – as well as selected performers from the stellar roll call of Gorillaz’ family of featured artists.
