Listen: London Grammar – ‘Oh Woman Oh Man’ (remix EP)

London Grammar’s success with the ‘club kids’ during their If You Wait era was absolutely cememnted by a multitude of remixes that came accompanied with their single releases. From Tourist to Tensnake to Arty, each edit seemed to play a formidable role at driving downbeat electronica to the dancefloor, and this winning trick continues with the group’s recent effort Oh Woman Oh Man.

Featuring reworks from MK, Tiga and DC Breaks, the new Oh Woman Oh Man remix EP (out now) comes as the second wave of reinterpretations from London Grammar’s upcoming album Truth Is A Beautiful Thing. Back in February <em>Big Picture received the once-over from the likes of SG Lewis and THRDLIFE, so it’s encouraging to hear producers wanting to jump onboard the London Grammar ship again. Fortunately, nothing has sunk…. just yet.

Listen: Plan B – ‘In The Name Of Man’

It’s been five years since Plan B last graced us with new music – back then it was Ill Manors, the politically-charged title-track from both his excellent record of the same name, alongside coupling as the soundtrack to the equally-gritty London-themed underground movie too.

Today he returns with the emotional In The Name Of Man, a song which instead hears a more-calming, creative approach versus his rap-focused discography. It’s more ‘Strickland Banks’ than Ill Manors, yet the thought-provoking lyrics remain ever-present.

Premiered as Mistajam’s latest Radio 1 ‘Hottest Record’, Plan B confirms the song leads the charge of an all-new album, citing “[it] feels good to be releasing music again”.

Glastonbury 2017: Silver Hayes WOW Stage day-by-day line-up revealed

Following on from the Gully reveal last week, organisers of Glastonbury’s Silver Hayes have announced the day-by-day schedule for the WOW Stage.

Set to be opened by the previously-announced House Gospel Choir, WOW will also see appearances from The Streets’ Mike Skinner, Shy FX, Solardo, My Nu Leng and more.

Gorillaz announce Humanz tour warm-up shows

Gorillaz have announced two ‘warm up’ shows ahead of their upcoming Humanz tour and Dreamland Margate takeover.

This time focusing on intimate venues, the two gigs will see Damon Albarn and co hit St Albans and Portsmouth, with limited tickets set to go onsale this coming Friday, 19th May. Tickets will only be allocated to those signed up to the Gorillaz mailing list.&nbsp with ticket information and codes sent to all eligible fans on Thursday evening.

In a bid to keep tickets away from touts, the band have also confirmed the name of the lead booker will be printed on every ticket, and will be checked against photo ID at each venue.

Video: TCTS – ‘Do It Like Me (Icy Feet)’ (ft. Sage The Gemini & Kelis)

TCTS has shared the full video for his Icy Feet rework. Now retitled Do It Like Me (Icy Feet), the track hears new verses courtesy of Sage The Gemini and Kelis and has already received remixes from the likes of Danny Howard (himself giving the joint regular spins on his Radio 1 shows).

The new visual, released earlier today, features professional French dancer Kirikoo Des. Shot in location in Paris, the clip sees Kirikoo interpret TCTS’ track into an expressive dance routine.

Mura Masa has announced a brand new song ahead of July’s release of his anticipated self-titled debut album.

Titled All Around The World, the track hears the young producer invite Desiigner onto vocal abilities, a collaboration which follows previous tie-ups with the likes of A$AP Rocky, Charli XCX, NAO and more.

Speaking to Radio 1’s Mistajam who premiered the track earlier today, Mura revealed that the track came about following a chance meeting in LA when the producer was recording at Interscope’s studios the same time as Kendrick (!!). Mura Masa already had the beat ready; Desiigner threw on his verses pretty quickly.

Glastonbury 2017: Gully line-up revealed

With just over five weeks to go until Glastonbury opens its doors for another year, Silver Hayes have revealed the line-up for the first of six stages.

Continuing on from the initial Silver Hayes reveal back at the end of last month, the Gully Stage will feature music from all over the globe, with a stellar closing-show on the Sunday featuring Donae’o, Dawn Penn and Shaggy.

Detroit-bred singer, producer, and songwriter JMSN has shared the new video for Slide, the fourth track from his latest album Whatever Makes U Happy.

“I like to leave things open for interpretation on a lot of my videos,” explains JMSN in the press release, adding “This video is no different in that sense. The more intense drama, the better. I take myself so seriously it may be considered to some as funny, but I’m deadass. But of course, there’s a comedic touch to everything I do. Humans taking themselves seriously is funny to me. I like ‘bootleg,’ very personal stuff with character and real emotions. That way there’s a space for humor. Maybe something you didn’t think is funny becomes funny. The video was inspired by the movie Natural Born Killers. Woody Harrelson is one of my favorite actors and this movie is amazing in so many aspects. So, I wanted to channel that for this video – not make the same exact thing but a version of it.”

Having already received props from Puff Daddy and Usher (among others), JMSN has also been tapped up by the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Game, Mac Miller, J. Cole, Tyga, Ab-Soul, Kaytranada, Ta-ku, and more.

Alongside the Slide visuals, the US artist has also two UK shows – one at London’s Village Underground on 27th June, and another four days prior on the opening day of this summer’s Glastonbury Festival.
