Liam Gallagher teases “massive announcement”. Could Oasis at Glasto be on the cards?
Liam Gallagher has taken to his official Twitter account to tease a “massive announcement”, sending the rumour-mill into overdrive.
Posting moments ago, fans have been hoping that the former Oasis-frontman will finally reveal details of his long-awaited solo debut album (of which he has reportedly finished, with the first single expected to be Wall of Glass), however Glastonbury goers seem to be hoping for something much much bigger.

Earlier this month, Emily Eavis revealed that a “big surprise” was on the horizon for next month’s event, the last Glastonbury before Worthy Farm receives its regular fallow year break. With various Glastonbury line-ups already having received the light of day, and the final listing expected to arrive in a matter of weeks, some are speculating that Liam’s announcement will be a surprise return to Glastonbury for Oasis, the first since their split back in 2009. However, with all three headline slots already filled (Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran), we’d be surprised if any of these are bumped in favour of Noel and Liam’s return to the Pyramid Stage. Noel has previously confirmed his attendance to Glastonbury for 2017 (though not in any specific performing capacity). Speaking to Radio X last month on the progress of his new album, he said “I’ve been given the deadline which is to have everything finished – mastered, artwork, videos, the lot – done by the time I go to Glastonbury in June.”

Glastonbury 2017: West Holts line-up announced
Glastonbury organisers have announced the full line-up for this summer’s West Holts stage, pipping The Jacksons with the Pyramid Stage’s Foo Fighters as Saturday night headliners.
Warmed up by Solange on the same evening, this year’s West Holts will also see appearances from Anderson .Paak (Friday), a Glastonbury return by Kate Tempest, the House Gospel Choir opening proceedings on the Sunday, and Justice closing the stage on Glastonbury’s final night too.

Video: Sinead Harnett – ‘Still Miss You’
Sinead Harnett has announced new music following a week of teasers on her social accounts.
Revealing the video for the GRADES-produced Still Miss You moments ago, the track falls part of Sinead’s brand new 8-song Chapter One mixtape. Out next week (1st June), Chapter One will see the singer reunite with long-time collaborators Kaytranada and JD.Reid (alongside the aforementioned GRADES). Wretch 32 will also be making an appearance on the project too, which is up for pre-order now:

Hailing from South-East London, sisters Lauren and Georgie Morgan, aka Blessed, have exploded onto the scene with their wavy debut Venom.
Oozing the pensivity of Aaliyah amidst a vibe of ‘Bootie Call’-esque All Saints, if you’re after a ‘London in the summer’ soundtrack, the girls have provided an absolute winner.

Listen: Lion Babe – ‘Hit The Ceiling’
Lion Babe are probably two of the hardest working people in the business right now; their debut album Begin dropped early-2016, with a full-blown EP following less than six months later. Meanwhile Lucas Goodman (who pairs with Jillian Hervey as one half of the group) revealed his own Rawmix Vol.1 mixtape less than four weeks ago, and now we’re already hearing some all-new music as they prep the release of their forthcoming sophomore album.
Revealed earlier today, Hit The Ceiling is confirmed to appear on Lion Babe’s anticipated second studio record (rumoured to land later this year); and whilst groovy at its heart, also follows the future-soul tones that made 2015’s Jump Hi breakthrough so endearing in first listen.

Video: Lorde – ‘Green Light’ (Live on Later… with Jools Holland)
Featuring the likes of Stefflon Don and Chery Crow to Oumou Sangaré and Pumarosa, last night’s episode of BBC2’s Later With Jools Holland marked the first time in its 25 year history where an entire episode was front by an all-female guestlist. Lorde was also on-hand to deliver a pensive rendition of Green Light, coming mere days after her creatively on-point karaoke-styled performance of the song at the US Billboard Music Awards.

The Weeknd’s Tell Your Friends has received a surprise new remix in celebration of the launch of his XO imprint’s new Soundcloud account.
Announced moments ago, the track hears 2015’s Beauty Behind The Madness jam receive verses from Drake, Kanye West, Belly, Ghostface Killah and Young Braised. Nas also makes an appearance, with the audio lifted from his live feature on the joint at last year’s MET Gala in NYC. The whole remix is large to say the least!

Missy Elliott surprised us at the turn of 2017 with I’m Better, her first single for the year, and one which we hoped would finally start the ball rolling for that anticipated new album.
Featuring a starring role from Lamb, the track’s been on repeat pretty-much ever since its January release – Missy shared some dope flows on the original, reminding us why she was so badass in the game in the first place. Today though, she’s gone and thrown things back into early-2000s territory by reuniting with Eve, Lil Kim and Trina for the track’s official remix.
