With an absolute treasure trove of gems on his Soundcloud, it remains a mystery as to why Butch Clancy still isn’t on the name-check list here in the UK. His own work in the electronic field is exemplary, whilst his remixes never fail to hit the right note – you just need to look at April’s Chains for proof (tbh, whoever can sample Nina Simone into dub/bass-territories deserves a medal in our books!).

Anyhow, on that note, Detroit-based Clancy’s dropped another winner here, giving French Montana’s Unforgettable a futuretronic makeover, and boy does this one go IN!

With a Groovy Armada edit incoming, first up on remix-duties is Richy Ahmed who builds on London Grammar’s original to deliver an essential club banger. Euphoric builds, subtle grooves and funk-filled bass, plus of course Hannah Reid’s stunning vocals – this could be one of summer 2017’s treasures.

Bestival 2017: Day splits finally revealed

With just three weeks to go until gates open, Bestival organisers have given further glimpses of what’s to expect for this year’s soiree after revealing the 2017 day-by-day stage splits.

Set to be headlined by The xx (Friday) and The Pet Shop Boys (Sunday), this year’s Bestival will also see what’s likely to be A Tribe Called Quest’s last ever live show as they hit The Castle Stage on the Saturday night.

Other highlights for this year include a Friday night UK Garage Pool Party (ft Heartless Crew, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Oxide & Neutrino and Matt Jam Lamont), whilst Dusky, Annie Mac and Heidi bring beats for the house-heads at The Temple on Saturday. Kurupt FM, Jamie T, Blossoms and DJ Shadow will also heat things up at Bestival’s new area, The Box.

Logic has shared his latest support for suicide prevention with the new video for his Alessia Cara and Khalid-assisted 1-800-273-8255.

Delivering a rollercoaster of emotions, the visual focuses on the heartache surrounding two young lovers, whose bond isn’t in line with their parents’ expectations. After considering suicide, one of the pair contacts the suicide hotline (the phone number of which equates to the track’s title), which in turn delivers a boost of confidence. The clip then closes with the two lovers getting married, with the parents happily in attendance.
