Taylor Swift announces new album ‘Reputation’

After sharing a daily stream of teaser videos over the past couple of the past week, Taylor Swift has formally announced her return with her sixth studio album Reputation.

Revealing the project’s artwork and title on her socials moments ago, Reputation will be preceded by its first single tomorrow evening (Thursday 24th August), highly rumoured to be dubbed Timeless.

The album comes three years since the release of her phenomenally-successful 1989; last year she united with Zayn Malik for the surprise I Don’t Wanna Live Forever off the ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ soundtrack.

More on Reputation and the new single as we hear it; the album lands on 10th November.

**UPDATE** Taylor Swift fan account Taylor Nation has hinted that the video for Swift’s new single will premiere on Good Morning America on 25th August:

Teaming up with producers Gwen Bunn and Ricci Riera (who masterminded each half of the 9-minute cut), the track comes as part of the “upcoming feature soundtrack Always Never Home.” That project lands on 8th September.

Taylor Swift has teased her return with a cryptic new video.

Revealed on her Twitter and Instagram accounts moments ago, the short clip only teases a snake’s tail flickering across a darkened background, giving very little away. The visual comes less than a week since Swift deleted all her previous posts on her social channels.

Jay-Z closes V Festival with Chester Bennington tribute

Jay Z has paid tribute to Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington after headlining the first night of this summer’s V Festival.

Prior to closing his Weston Park set with Numb/Encore, the track both artists famously collaborated on for 2004’s Collision Course, Jay took a moment to remember his friend who sadly passed away last month.
