Nicki Minaj has shared two new tracks following her announcement of her return to the scene earlier this week.
The songs, titled ‘Barbie Tingz’ and ‘Chun-Li’ received their world premiere on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show earlier today, and mark Nicki’s first pieces of solo work since 2014’s ‘The PinkPrint’.
Alongside the new songs, Nicki also confirmed she will be appearing on Young Thug’s first song of the year, ‘Anybody’, expected to debut imminently.

Discussing ‘Sky Full Of Song’ for the first time today, Florence writes: “this was a song that just fell out of the sky fully formed. Sometimes when you are performing you get so high, it’s hard to know how to come down. There is this feeling of being cracked open, rushing endlessly outwards and upwards, and wanting somebody to hold you still, bring you back to yourself. It’s an incredible, celestial, but somehow lonely feeling.”
The Record Store Day release of ‘Sky Full Of Song’ will be backed by a recording of ‘New York Poem (for Polly)’, read by Florence and taken from ‘Useless Magic’: a collection of lyrics, artwork and poetry which will form Florence’s first book, and offers a unique, personal insight into her creative process.

Coachella organisers have announced plans to broadcast some of this year’s performances in VR.
Alongside the return of the YouTube live stream, which will feature sets from the likes of Beyonce, The Weeknd, HAIM and more, the festival will also add a fourth channel to their broadcast which will cover the Main Stage, Sahara Tent, and festival grounds in an immersive VR180 stream.
The experience will also be open to all those with a smartphone and VR viewer capabilities (eg Google Cardboard), and not solely a VR headset.

Speaking to Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw earlier this morning, Malik said he also intends to return to the live stage following his publicly-documented anxieties – “I didn’t know what was going on for a while… I was just putting out a record and not really being as prominent as I wanted to be” he said, adding “but this time around I feel like I am more confident and I really believe in what’s going on, so I want to convey that to my fans”.

CHVRCHES have shared the fourth preview of their upcoming album ‘Love Is Dead’ with the bold new single ‘Miracle’.
Produced by Steve Mac, the song hears delicate verses supported by a thunderous chorus – vocal distortions are subtle yet are at plenty here, and whilst a departure from some of their earlier work, ‘Miracle’ brings one of CHVRCHES’ most radio-friendly joints to date.

The songs will be her first piece of solo work since 2014’s ‘The PinkPrint’, having since released collaborations with the likes of Quavo (‘She For Keeps’), Travis Scott (‘Krippy Kush’) and Yo Gotti (‘Rake It Up’).
