Having already placed his mark on ‘New Rules’ toward the back-end of last year, Initial Talk has now turned his attentions to remixing Dua Lipa’s ‘IDGAF’.
Falling part of the new ‘IDGAF’ remix package, which features new edits from Diablo and B Case, the Tokyo-based producer’s rework throws the cut back into 80s New Jack Swing territory. Just like ‘New Rules’, Initial Talk shows how startlingly-excellent Dua Lipa’s mammoth joint could be if we threw it back a few decades.

Bestival organisers have announced the return of their Feast Collective proposition for 2018, as the annual event celebrates 15 years at the forefront of festival culture.
Featuring a host of new eateries (including established favourites including Happy Maki, Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen and Butchies), Bestival 2018 will also play host to a massive vegan-only selection too.
Of the latest news, Feast Collective curator Gemma Thorogood says: “Feasties delight! We’ll be bringing back some of your trusted favourites – Butchies, Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen, Happy Maki – while responding to the country’s massive vegan drive this year by curating a very special vegan corner with Fat Gay Vegan – the Vegangsters! I’m also super stoked to be bringing DJ BBQ into the mix this year too, who’ll be spinning his wheels of BBQ steel for the masses and inspired by Girls Who Grind Coffee who’ll be making us a special Bestival Babes Blend to further hail the female power Bestival brings to the fields. Top tip: Milgi have some vegan soft scoop icecream under their counter if you ask them nicely ;)”.
The latest appointment to Bestival 2018 comes hot on the heels of news that the site will be taking further measures to reduce single-use plastics.

After reworking ‘Figures’ with Daniel Caesar at the turn of the year, Jessie Reyez has shared another new song, courtesy of ‘Body Count’.
Describing the song, alongside the track’s impending video, the young artist says “The luxury of not getting judged for “loving” who you want to love should be given to everyone – including women. I feel like so often we’re encouraged to keep our “body count” low, where as men get high fives for a high number; which is cool, do you, but I think the double standard is wack and women should get high fives too lol. I’m not saying go f** the world – I’m saying f** the unfair judgement.”

Famed for their residency at iconic Manchester nightclub The Hacienda, Mike Pickering and Graeme Park have put their own unique spin on ‘It’s A Beautiful World’, the latest track from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
The remix (which comes as both a more ‘general’ version alongside the instrumental for all those intrepid producers), originally received a release a fortnight back on Record Store Day, however now the digital versions are here for all to listen to.

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost three months since MIST dropped his surprise ‘Diamond In The Dirt’ EP. As one of the many rising MCs to come from the UK’s regional scene (MIST lands from Brum), the entire project failed to disappoint (not that we would have expected anything but, to be fair). Be it the soulful ‘Fountain’ or the instantly-inviting ‘Game Changer’, the EP definitely leads the charge as one of this country’s strongest releases of the year so far, and we’re super-hyped that the talented lyricist has now given the Jessie Ware-featuring ‘Wish Me Well’ an official release.

Florence & the Machine have revealed their new single ‘Hunger’, alongside the track’s official video.
Teased initially on Monday, ‘Hunger’ marks the group’s first single from their anticipated fourth studio album ‘High As Hope’, also just announced.
Revealing the single as Radio 1’s latest Hottest Record, Florence sat down for a candid chat with Annie Mac, talking about the group’s new music, their first since 2015’s ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’. You can watch the interview in full, alongside the ‘Hunger’ visual, below:
Arctic Monkeys used their recent show in California to preview new music from their anticipated upcoming album ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’.

Following teasers over the past week, Christina Aguilera has finally announced her 6th studio album ‘Liberation’.
Set for release on 15th June, the announcement comes alongside the album’s first official single ‘Accelerate’, which sees Aguilera team up with Ty Dolla $ign & 2 Chainz. Kanye West is also listed on production credits too.
