Hear Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne’s new collaboration ‘Rich Sex’

Following a brief teaser over the weekend, Nicki Minaj has released her new song ‘Rich Sex’.

Featuring a tie-up with Lil Wayne, the track is the first of two new songs Nicki plans to release this week – ‘Bed’, which features Ariana Grande, will drop this coming Thursday, 14th June. Both songs are expected to appear on Minaj’s forthcoming album ‘Queen’, which has been delayed until August.

Alongside ‘Rich Sex’, Nicki has also announced a joint tour with Future, which will see the duo hit multiple venues across the UK and Europe in 2019. Check the full dates here, and stream ‘Rich Sex’ below:

Nicki Minaj and Future announce 2019 ‘NICKIHNDRXX’ UK tour

Nicki Minaj and Future have announced a joint US & European tour.

Dubbed the NICKIHNDRXX Tour, both artists will kick off in North America this coming September, travelling through the US until the end of November. They will then restart in February 2019 in Munich for the European leg of the tour, which will also see them hit the UK the following month.

Tickets for the UK shows go onsale this coming Friday, 15th June – check the full schedule below:

DeJ Loaf has teamed up with Leon Bridges for the title-track off the former’s upcoming album ‘Liberated’.

Calling the song her “favourite record of her career”, the song’s universal message makes it clear that DeJ is calling upon all her fans to celebrate with her: “If you feel free, you should lift your hands.”

“It is such a powerful, life affirming song” says DeJ, adding “‘Liberated’ is about freeing yourself from negativity, doubt or anything that shackles you. It’s about feeling confidant, proud and alive. That moment when you aren’t looking over your shoulder or worrying about what others are thinking. When you realize you are LIVING. Kanye West has shared his second new album of the month, teaming up with Kid Cudi for his much-promised new collaborative project, ‘Kids See Ghosts’.

Released one week after West’s ‘YE‘, ‘Kids See Ghosts’ already trumps Kanye’s own solo work by more than a mile. Spanning just seven songs (is this the ‘new norm’ for albums now?), the project hears more ‘Kanye of olde’ – harsher, more-focused raps, entwined with some solid verses from Cudi himself.

Glastonbury 2019: The Beach Boys for Legends slot?

60s pop/rock-band The Beach Boys have become the latest act to hit up the Glastonbury 2019 rumour-mill, following a rogue tour listing appearing on the web.

According to ViaGoGo, the band are set to return to the UK for two performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall, the weekend prior to next year’s Glastonbury, which runs from 26-30 June.

Last year, Beach Boys co-founder Brian Wilson was announced as the headliner for the 21st Glastonbury Extravaganza. Meanwhile, just last month, the group’s Mike Wilson teased that a Worthy Farm Sunday afternoon ‘legends’ appearance could actually be within arm’s reach. Speaking to The Sun, he said “Anything could happen. I would absolutely love to go to Glastonbury. We did 175 shows last year so we stay pretty busy. We would love nothing more than to do that slot at the festival.”

Other names also attached to Glastonbury 2019 include The 1975, Chromeo and Hacienda Classical (the latter whom have already confirmed their appearance).

After what seems far too-long-in-the-making, Lily Allen has finally returned with a full length-album, her first since 2014’s ‘Sheezus’.

‘No Shame’, Allen’s fourth studio project, has already been preceded by various singles and televised performances (we’d highly suggest you check out her Jools Holland appearance with ‘Three‘ btw), and has shared a project widely-focused on her personal trauma and experiences that have been prevalent in her life since her last foray.

Brutally honest from the get-go, ‘No Shame’ hears Lily deliver some of her best work to-date – impeccably produced, features that don’t overstay their welcome, and an outlook that seems as relatable to the many as some of her earlier material.

Maribou State announce new album; share new song ‘Feel Good’

Maribou State hae announced their new album ‘Kingdoms In Colour’, their first full-length release since 2015’s breakthrough debut ‘Portraits’.

Announcing the news earlier today, the Hertfordshire-based duo have also revealed the project’s second single ‘Feel Good’, which follows last month’s lead track ‘Turnmills‘, which paid tribute to the famed London club of the same name. The new song also hears a collaboration with Houston-based trio Khruangbin, who join Maribou State with their shared love of breakbeats (a theme which rides consistently throughout the track).

Alongside the new song, and album-announcement, Maribou State have also shared details of their autumn UK tour, which includes a headline show at London’s Roundhouse in October.
