Since the start of the year, Lido fans had been patiently waiting for new music, however he made a welcome return just last month with his surprise EP ‘Spacesuit’, a collaborative project with rapper J’Von.

Now, just over 5 weeks on, Lido’s worked his magic once again, reworking Kanye West and Kid Cudi’s recent ‘Kids See Ghosts’ record, and interpreting it into a gripping seven minute wonder of future-brass electronica. Featuring nine new songs (including a TIDAL-only bonus track), the record was revealed during the closing London stint of their dual ‘On The Road 2’ tour, and came alongside a video for the project’s second cut, ‘Apeshit‘.

Watch Nile Rodgers & Chic enlist Mura Masa & Cosha for ‘Till The World Falls’

Following last week’s debut of the NAO-featuring ‘Boogie All Night’, Nile Rodgers and his Chic outfit used their appearance on BBC’s ‘Later… With Jools Holland’ to showcase another new song, ‘Till The World Falls’.

Once again featuring Mura Masa alongside Cosha (formerly known as Bonzai), the track will join its predecessor on the forthcoming Chic record ‘It’s About Time’. Confirmed for release in September, the new project will mark Chic’s first full-length studio outing in over 25 years, and alongside the aforementioned names, will also feature contributions from the likes of Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak and Disclosure, among others.

Watch Beyonce and Jay-Z’s new video for ‘Apeshit’

Following the shock-release of their surprise joint album ‘Everything Is Love’, Beyonce and Jay-Z have now shared the official video for the project’s second song, ‘Apeshit’.

Initially revealed alongside the album as a TIDAL exclusive, the video, filmed last month at The Louvre, can now be viewed for all to see on YouTube. The clip meanwhile was directed by Ricky Saiz, who had previously worked with Beyonce for her ‘Yonce’ video off her 2013 self-titled record.

Beyonce’s done it again! Following the shock surprise of LEMONADE in 2016, Bey has now dropped another album out the blue, and this time it’s with Jay-Z!

The new 9-track project, titled ‘Everything Is Love’, was announced following the conclusion of their London ‘On The Run 2’ shows, and came after a surprise showing of the video for ‘Apeshit‘.

Nas’ long-awaited new album ‘Nasir’ has arrived, following a live-streamed event in his hometown in the early hours.

The project, Nas’ first since 2012’s ‘Life Is Good’ is the fourth Kanye West-produced record to land in a matter of weeks, following his own work on ‘Ye’, the Kid Cudi-assisted ‘Kids See Ghosts’ and Pusha T’s ‘DAYTONA’. Push and Kanye were in attendance for the ‘Nasir’ listening party, alongside Chris Rock and Kim Kardashian, among others.
