Diplo and Mark Ronson have shared their new ‘LOUD’, the third cut from the super-producers’ new Silk City project.
The track, which features GoldLink and Desiigner, comes ahead of Silk City’s first ever UK show at Bestival on Friday, and follows last month’s ‘Feel About You‘, plus their debut ‘Only Can Get Better‘.

Mura Masa has announced his new single ‘Complicated’.
Teaming up once again with long-term collaborator NAO, the track will receive its world premiere as Annie Mac’s latest Radio 1 Hottest Record tomorrow evening, 2nd August. The song also follows June’s ‘Move Me‘, a collaboration with London-based MC Octavian, as the latest preview from the producer’s forthcoming second studio album, rumoured to land later this year.

Neneh Cherry is back following a three year hiatus with her new single ‘Kong’.
Produced by Four Tet alongside Massive Attack’s 3D (the former who also produced Cherry’s 2014 LP, ‘Blank Project’), the song also comes accompanied by a stunning video courtesy of Jennifer Nkiru.

Zayn Malik has released his new song, less than a month on from his excellent Michael Jackson-inspired ‘Sour Diesel‘.
Titled ‘Too Much’, the song features production (and assisted vocals) from Timbaland, and was announced earlier in the week via a 20-second animation (which saw ZAYN once again throw on some MJ-inspired moves).

Hooking up with Sampha on her new song ‘Illusions’, Roses (real name Rosie Wilson) delivers a return of huge proportions – silky as you’d expect from both artists, Gabor’s vocals massively pack a punch here, and helps create a song which is instantly-inviting (particularly with the volume turned way up). The joint’s also been given the seal of approval from 1Xtra’s DJ Target, so you know you’re in safe hands!

Jennifer Lopez has become the latest recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, MTV have confirmed.
The award, given annually as the Video Music Awards’ equivalent of a lifetime achievement, will see Lopez join a long-list of big music name recipients, including Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and Madonna (and of course Michael Jackson).
Alongside the Video Vanguard gong, Jlo is also in the running for two further VMAs – her collaboration with Cardi B and DJ Khaled on ‘Dinero‘ is up for both Best Collaboration and Best Latin Video. She will also be performing the song live at the ceremony which will take place on 20th August at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.

Continuing on with his partnership with Rockstar Games, the CIK visuals transports the DJ straight into the world of Grand Theft Auto: After Hours, the new expansion pack for the GTA series, and sees Solomum make deliveries across Los Santos while trying not to get caught up in the everyday chaos of the city. Shot entirely inside the world of GTAV, this is also the first time a real world artist has debuted new music via their own story inside the GTA universe.

Chris Lorenzo has announced plans to embark on a nationwide UK tour this autumn, playing all-night sets that will delve into his varying musical roots, passions and influences.
Kicking off at London’s Bussey Building on 14th September, the prolific producer will then travel across the UK for a further 7 shows, stopping at most major cities before concluding on 27th October at Sheffield’s Tank.
According to the press release, Lorenzo will play sets spanning over 6 hours long each night, covering vocal-led house and techno, to garage, bass and more. “My trademark sound is born out of all the influences and genres I’ve experienced over the 10 years of my career” he says “from house and disco to UK garage and bassline through to dubstep, dnb and the tougher side of things….. I wanted a platform where I could have more room to express myself as a DJ and take the clubbers with me across my musical journey. The ‘Me & You’ tour is about just that: just me and the ravers going on a journey together from open till close.”

Netflix has announced their new music documentary series, ‘Once In A Lifetime Sessions’.
Featuring four different artists in its first season, the fly-on-the-wall show will see Nile Rodgers, Noel Gallagher, Moby and TLC discuss their music creations, shot on location at studios across the world.
Earlier this year, Nile Rodgers and Chic announced ‘It’s About Time’, their first new studio album in 26 years. It’s likely ‘Once In A Lifetime’ will document the process behind the recording of the project.
‘Once In a Lifetime Sessions’ arrives on 1st August as a Netflix exclusive.
Robyn has returned with her first new song since ‘Honey’ with ‘Missing U’.
Teased late last week, the singer describes the track as a “message to my fans that I’ve missed them”. ‘Missing U’ is also likely to appear on the Swedish artist’s forthcoming studio album, her first since 2010’s ‘Body Talk’. Back in February, Robyn announced that her next record would see a release “sometime this year.”, describing that the project would be a “softer” record and that “it’s not finished yet but it’s there.”
