It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything fresh from Yaeji. Sure the Brooklyn-based producer spent 2017 releasing a heap of new music, but 2018’s remained kind of quiet for the Korean-American artist.
Today however, she drops her surprise remix of Charli XCX’s ‘Focus’, transforming the already-great original into something more suited for the brooding deep/house dancefloors. The end result is something pretty spectacular.

Mark Ronson and Diplo have shared a new vertical video for their Dua Lipa-assisted song, ‘Electricity’.
Coming as the fourth single from Ronson and the Major Lazer-producer’s new Silk City partnership, ‘Electricity’ follows a string of other Chicago-House-focused collaborations from the duo, including ‘Only Can Get Better‘ (featuring Daniel Merriweather) and ‘Feel About You‘ featuring Mapei.

Following up from his last two singles ‘Angels’ and ‘Hands On Me’, Stafford-born BURNS has teamed up with Johnny Yukon for his mid-tempo ‘Worst’.
Set as a preview of what’s to come from his upcoming debut album, the track is highly influenced by his new home in Los Angeles. On the new project, the producer explains the record as a “cross between the organic and the digital, live instruments and processed sounds, and the simplicity of hip-hop production with the intricacy of house.”

Having spent the year being fairly hectic with her work alongside Diplo and Labrinth on their LSD supergroup, Sia has given fans a taste of new solo material by way of the Amazon-exclusive ‘Step By Step’.
Reuniting with frequent-collaborator Greg Kurstin, the song hears the Aussie star drop a return to pop-excellence, and marks Sia’s first piece of new music since her 2016 album ‘This Is Acting’. At the moment, it remains restricted to Amazon Prime/Music members, but fingers crossed it gets opened up to more streaming platforms soon.

Redlight has shared his new single ‘Get Wavey’, the first song to be lifted off his just-announced new album ‘ACTIVE’.
Set for include a cast spanning Sweetie Irie, Karen Harding and Abra Cadabra, ‘ACTIVE’ lands next month and follows three years on from the success of his 2015 debut LP ‘X Colour’.

As perfect for the dancefloors as it is for sofa-vibing, the EP formulates the first half of the duo’s new two-part series, and features their early-summer single ‘‘Air and Water’‘ alongside new song ‘Long Time’, featuring iLoveMakkonen. Four further tracks are also bundled in too.

Rita Ora has announced her long-awaited second studio album ‘Phoenix’, whilst also sharing the video for the project’s latest song, ‘Let You Love Me’.
Arriving six years on from her self-titled debut, ‘Ora’, Rita’s second studio foray has been the subject of many postponements over the years, cited reasons include her breakup with producer Calvin Harris alongside her split from then-label Roc Nation.
In a statement, Ora says “One of the most liberating feelings for me is performing and creating music. This album is a true labour of love, and it was important for me to do it my way. I’m so appreciative of the love and support from those who worked with me on the record and allowed me to create something I’m really proud of. They gave me the space and freedom to create something from my heart. Both challenging and euphoric at times, I am really proud of and grateful for the journey that the making of ‘Phoenix’ has taken me on.”
Whilst the full tracklisting is yet to be revealed, it has already been confirmed that previously-released collaborations with Avicii, Rudimental and Liam Payne will all feature on the project.
