In an announcement earlier today, EDM artist Diplo revealed that both himself and dubstep king Skrillex have collaborated, and working on a side project entitled Jack U.
Whilst hardly anything is known regarding the direction these two heavyweights will be going in, time will only tell whether this is going to be a novelty DJ set or a longer-term collaboration.
Exciting times regardless for EDM fans nonetheless!
Some may think that collaborating on a tour may be just enough; not for Marina and The Diamonds and Charli XCX though. The two goth/pop artists have unveiled their joint collaboration single Just Deserts.
The track, which is available as a free download too (hurrah!) sees a synth-heavy upbeat track that’ll definitely get show-goers moving.

UK dance duo Disclosure have announced the tracklisting for their forthcoming album Settle, and it’s set to be a scorcher!
Featuring the likes of AlunaGeorge, Jamie Woon and Eliza Doolittle, the album is expected to be one of the most eagerly-awaited UK debuts of recent times.

UK grime artist Dizzee Rascal has unveiled the full audio for his latest single H Town. Produced by A-Trak and featuring Trae The Truth and Bun B, the track is set for release on May 1st.
Unveiled on Dizzee’s Dirteestanktv YouTube channel, watermarked track marks a strong return to form for the rapper, [hopefully] leaving his Guetta-esque dance days behind him and back to just rap.

Scottish songstress Emeli Sande has unveiled her collaboration with Bryan Ferry for the forthcoming The Great Gatsby soundtrack.
The track, an uptempo 1920’s jazzy take on Beyonce’s Crazy In Love adds something fairly spectacular to the infamous original. Why 1920s? Well that was the era when the original The Great Gatsby novel was written of course.

Ex-The Streets star Mike Skinner has announced the new single by his new band The D.O.T. in preparation for the release of the duo’s second album.
Entitled Blood, Sweat & Tears, the snare-heavy indie-esque track adds something fresh to the charts heavily dominated by EDM and deviations of R&B. Blood, Sweat & Tears is expected to be released on 17th June, whilst eager fans can get hold of the new album on May 6th.

Hip Hop artist Snoop Dogg changes his name to Snoop Lion, travels to Jamaica, emerges himself in Rastafarian culture and produces his first reggae record in the full movie for Reincarnated. The movie which depicts the former rapper’s transition from hip-hop to reggae artist has been released to coincide with the release of the star’s new LP of the same name.
