Mutya Keisha Siobhan have been caught in action on the set of their video for forthcoming single Flatline.
The location shoot, in Venice Beach, California, shows the girls in their natural stance, relaxing by the beach amid graffiti walls and deckchairs.

Producer Timbaland has opened up about his and Jay-Z’s dramatic falling-out in a new recording, thanks to Revolt TV.
The acclaimed artist tells how his own ego held back the recording of Jay-Z’s latest LP Magna Carta Holy Grail in the new video, which features excerpts from the latter’s latest bout of interviews with Radio 1 host Zane Lowe.

Busta Rhymes has officially confirmed his new LP E.L.E. 2, the follow-up to the rapper’s acclaimed 1998 album Extinction Level Event.
After what seems an incredibly long hiatus from music (if you discount last year’s free release Year of the Dragon, and the rapper’s ‘mediocre’ attempt with 2009’s Back On My B.S.), the trailer to E.L.E. 2 (below) seems to pick up where the 1998 original left off.
Utilising the fiery cinematic scenes against orchestral operatic choir vocals (akin to Adam F’s haunting Kaos Main Title intro), the teaser trailer certainly conjures up a sense of anticipation.

Breaking British producer Naughty Boy has unveiled the star-studded trailer for his forthcoming album Hotel Cabana.
The album, whose trailer takes a unique spin by showing a cab journey with all featured collaborations, is set to feature a multitude of big-name stars, including Emeli Sande, Ed Sheeran, Professor Green, Sam Smith and Wretch 32. However the collaboration we’re most excited about is for the return of 90s artist Gabrielle to the music scene.

At the recent Jazz à Vienne Festival, Chic frontman (and all round disco-legend) Nile Rodgers let slip a little exclusive – there may well be a further Daft Punk collaboration in the pipeline.
Speaking candidly in a short interview with DJAZZ.tv, the musician reveals that during a recent visit to [record label] Warner’s tape library, Rodgers stumbled on some old unreleased Chic masters that were not actually owned by the label. Within the ‘box of tricks’, Rodgers reveals that some of the masters found were never actually attached to any specific project… exclusively the singer/songwriter continues by saying that Daft Punk may be wanting to use the masters for a future release.
It’s an exciting time to be hearing this; Nile Rodgers has been taking Chic on a tour round Europe of late, bringing party after party to the likes of Glastonbury all the way to Barclaycard’s British Summer Time last weekend. The thought of a fresh collaboration between the dance duo (whose latest LP Random Access Memories featured Rodgers-produced summer anthem Get Lucky) and the funk master certainly gets us salivating again!

Jay-Z surprised fans during his headline slot at London’s Wireless Festival last night, welcoming Justin Timberlake onstage for their first live performance of collaboration-track Holy Grail.
The track, taken from the rapper’s latest LP Magna Carta Holy Grail, served as the encore performance at the just-under-two-hour show, which also featured album-cut Picasso Baby.

Fresh from his recent UK appearances, US singer/songwriter Robin Thicke has unveiled his newest single Take It Easy On Me – the follow-up to this summer’s anthem, Blurred Lines.
The track, produced by Timbaland, will be the second single from Thicke’s forthcoming sixth studio LP, also titled Blurred Lines, and features a funky-uptempo beat with Thicke’s smooth voice taking centre-stage. Another smash ready for the clubs we feel!
