Tinie Tempah has announced the artwork for his forthcoming new album Demonstration. The album, the follow-up to 2010’s phenomenally successful Disc-Overy will also feature the rapper’s Top 3 single Trampoline.
In a recent interview, Tempah also confirmed that he has collaborated with a host of big names on the album, including Labrinth, Dizzee Rascal, Ellie Goulding, Big Sean and Emeli Sandé.
Demonstration is out on 4th November.
Sub Focus has unveiled the preview of his new collaboration with MNEK on Close. The track is taken from the DJ/producer’s new album Torus, out September 30th.
Seriously, it feels like MNEK has the Midas Touch – everything he puts his name to just sounds simply wonderful.

British X Factor singer Cher Lloyd has unveiled the lyric video her new single I Wish, featuring US rapper T.I., and first impressions are that it’s not half bad.

Whilst lyric videos may be something of the norm nowadays, M.I.A. is one of the few artists to confirm to any kind of normality.
The singer, fresh from unveiling her new single Come Walk With Me, has premiered the associated lyric video, and it’s as bonkers as you’d expect. The video of the track, taken from the singer’s forthcoming album Matangi, is themed around Hindu animation with visuals you would associate with some try-hard screwed-up video game.

In preparation for the full release of his forthcoming debut album Kiss Land next Tuesday, The Weeknd has unveiled probably one of the most bizarre promotional videos ever.
Styled as a Japanese single’s phone-line ad, urging viewers to call a phone number. Those who actually make the call are greeted with a message from the singer/songwriter thanking his fans “from being homeless to traveling the world.”

Swedish duo Icona Pop have followed up their world-storming I Don’t Care with new single In The Stars, and it’s pretty good.
The track, in association with their partnership with Samsung’s Galaxy series, is set to appear on the band’s forthcoming debut album This Is… Icona Pop.

James Arthur has taken to his official Soundcloud page to unveil a teaser of his forthcoming debut track You’re Nobody ‘Til Someone Loves You.
The track, the first official single from the XFactor winner since he championed the 2012 TV talent competition, sounds incredibly promising, clearly taking cues from the time he’s been spending with Labrinth of late.
Speaking to Digital Spy last month, producer Naughty Boy described Arthur’s debut album as ‘urban-pop’ and ‘edgy’, saying “One of the songs that me and Emeli [Sandé] wrote [for him] is like a big orchestral piece and it has no drums.”

No sooner had Sony unveiled their SmartWatch 2, has Samsung come in and stolen their thunder by announcing their own Galaxy Gear Smart Watch.
The watch is set to ship with the forthcoming Galaxy Note 3, and whilst it features full compatibility with the device, the Smart Watch is set to be fully operational with existing Galaxy products.
The watch will be available in six colours on release on 25th September: Jet Black, Mocha Gray, Wild Orange, Oatmeal Beige, Rose Gold, and Lime Green. Pricing has yet to be revealed.
