Listen: Ariana Grande shares snippet of all-new music

Ariana Grande has shared a snippet of new music, less than two months since the release of her fourth studio album, ‘Sweetener’.

Releasing a lengthy preview of an un-named track, the 45-second clip follows what appeared to be a teaser for a 9-song tracklist on her socials. She captioned the audio with “tell me how good it feels to be needed.”

Watch Eminem’s new video for ‘Venom’

Eminem has revealed the video for ‘Venom’, coinciding with the worldwide release of the film of the same name.

Originally teased via a cryptic tweet last month which announced his participation in the movie’s soundtrack, the track finally culminated with the surprise release of his new album ‘Kamikaze’. The record appeared less than twelve months on from his previous studio outing, last year’s ‘Revival’. ‘Venom’ marks the album’s closing track.

AlunaGeorge have released their new ‘Champagne Eyes’ EP, their first full body of work since their 2016 album, ‘I Remember’.

Featuring the project’s lead song ‘Superior Emotion’, released earlier last month, the 6-track collection also hears the duo reunite with Baauer for the title-track, whilst Bryson Tiller also makes an appearance on the smooth ‘Cold Blooded Creatures’.

‘Champagne Eyes’ also follows on from August’s ‘Hurting‘, which saw the duo team up with SG Lewis for the first time.

Hear Sigrid’s impeccable new pop gem, ‘Sucker Punch’

Bloody heck, Sigrid’s dropped a massive pop stormer out of nowhere, premiering her brand new single ‘Sucker Punch’.

Unveiled as Annie Mac’s latest Radio 1 Hottest Record, the track comes ahead of the Norwegian singer’s debut album, which follows on from her acclaimed EP ‘RAW’. ‘Sucker Punch’ marks the project’s first official single.

“Sucker Punch is one of my favourite songs so far and I’ve been so excited for release day” says the 22 year-old – “Emily Warren, Martin Sjølie and I made it when we were in Ocean Sound Recordings in my hometown a while ago. The song is just a result of our usual way of working: talking, cooking, strolling, singing, dancing, experimenting…! Ugh it was so fun – just like the track itself”.

Glastonbury 2019 coach tickets sell out in less than 30 minutes

As expected, the first ticket sale stampede for 2019’s Glastonbury Festival has been and gone, with all coach+ticket combo packages selling out in less than 30 minutes.

As per previous years, those who look to travel to Glastonbury by coach were given a four-day head-start on securing tickets, with some 15,000 being snapped up when they went on sale at 6pm this evening. Meanwhile, a further 150,000 ticket-only passes will become available this Sunday (7th October), with prospective buyers expected to enter a race with over one million other hopefuls. Tickets for 2019’a Glastonbury will see a £10 increase versus last year (£248 + £5 booking fee), however still delivers excellent value for money against other events in the annual festival calendar.

Hear Anderson .Paak and Kendrick Lamar team up for ‘Tints’

Following an initial teaser almost a fortnight ago‘s, Anderson .Paak has now shared his new single ‘Tints’, his new collaboration with Kendrick Lamar.

Premiered on Zane Lowe’s recent radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1, the track is the first time the pair have teamed up since appearing on Dr Dre’s ‘Deep Water’ back in 2015. .Paak also performed ‘Bloody Waters’ on the Kenrick-curated soundtrack to ‘Black Panther: The Movie’.

Speaking to Zane, Anderson confirmed that ‘Tints’ marks the official lead single from his upcoming studio album ‘Oxnard’. Alongside Kendrick, the LP is also set to feature J. Cole and Pusha-T.

Childish Gambino has announced his return to London for the first time since headlining this summer’s Lovebox, with a one-off show at the Capital’s O2 Arena in November.

Falling as part of his ‘This Is America’ tour, which Donald Glover has confirmed will be his final showcase for his Gambino moniker, the US actor/rapper will grace the London venue on Sunday 4th November. Tickets are onsale now – hit the link below for more info:

Watch Christina Aguilera and Lil Kim reconnect for ‘Lady Marmalade’

Back toward the tail-end of September, Christina Aguilera kicked off her ‘Liberation Tour’, her first major set of shows since she toured her 2006 album, ‘Back To Basics’.

Currently doing the rounds in the US, it was last night’s stop at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall that’s been making all the headlines. And no, not because Bill and Hillary Clinton were in the audience, but instead Christina’s surprise on-stage reunion with Lil Kim.

Opening up solo on their huge global 2001 smash ‘Lady Marmalade’, the second verse saw Aguilera call out “We got a surprise: Lil’ Kim, Lil’ Kim, Lil’ Kim!” – Kim then graced the stage rapping her part of the infamous hit. Unfortunately neither P!nk nor Mya (or even Missy) appeared, but regardless, this was a LOT of fun. If only Kim could’ve stayed onstage long enough to perform ‘Can’t Hold Us Down’.

Produced by Team Salut, the forward-thinking track definitely hears Gabor take cues from her previous collaborations with SBTRKT, whilst also marking a more chilled-out stance for the Team Salut trio whose previous work for the likes of Burna Boy and Mr Eazi have equally hit the spot.
