Though they did have a little fan-base growing in the early 2000’s, their album World Record Holders never actually made it to release, however some tracks have surfaced online.

After premiering her new track Pale To Grey last week newcomer Alison Levi (a Stagedoor FM ‘one to watch’) has announced details of a new live gig at London’s Kensington Roof Gardens.
The British Academy of New Music-graduate is set to grace the Roof Gardens’ stage on 9th November, along with another Stagedoor FM favourite, Leslie Phillips.
We’ve seen Alison perform a few times over the past 6 months, so hands-down you’re in for a treat! Set to perform tracks from her EPs There Will Be Blood and Pale To Grey, the singer fuses pop rock with her soulful vocals for a wonderful outcome. We can’t wait.

Initially teased at last month’s iTunes Festival, Lady Gaga has unveiled more of her forthcoming ARTPOP track, Aura, in the new ‘Machete Kills’ movie trailer.
The trailer, for which Gaga also takes a starring role, is the third trailer to the sequel of the 2010 movie, and also previews more around Lady Gaga’s own character, playing villain Lady Chameleon.
A full lyric video for Aura is set to drop on Tuesday, 8th October.
N*Sync’s JC Chasez’s new girl group Girl Radical have premiered their first official single Don’t Get Me Wrong.
The track by the 11-piece girlband (yes, there’s 11 of them!), follows their August cover of No Doubt’s Just A Girl, and is co-produced by Chasez (along with management duties).
The bubbly & catchy pop tune is likely to be a mediocre hit in the US, bit will it catch on over here in the UK? Time will tell….

Performing mega-hit Royals from the New Zealand star’s groundbreaking new LP Pure Heroine, the star showed how strong a live performer she is, versus many of her teenage contemporaries who solely seem to mime over studio versions.

A new video has surfaced, showing Adam Lambert and Fun preparing for their show-stopping performance with Queen for September’s iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas.

Will Kennard, one half of dance maestros Chase and Status, has unveiled to the BBC his plans to open a free school in London’s East End, aimed at developing musical talent in the area.
In a short film for BBC1’s ‘This Week’, Kennard explains his focus for his ELAM (East London Arts & Music) project, and how he is looking to turn his skills from the turntable to the timetable.
The scheme, championed by MP Michael Grove, is to be set up in Tower Hamlets, an area Kennard explains as “one of the worst areas for child poverty”. The school, set to open next year, will be “aimed to tackle “social disadvantage and challenge the status quo.”

Fresh from the release of their new album Days Are Gone last week, US trio HAIM have unveiled their new single Edge.
The track, which follows on from both Falling and The Wire, is the third release from Days Are Gone and was co-written by George Lewis Jr (aka Twin Shadow).

US singer/songwriter Mayer Hawthorne has unveiled a surprise cover, taking the helm of Lorde’s global smash Royals.
Hawthorne really turns the track on its head in this special production for Vevo, something we’re sure Lorde would be proud of; superb production, especially the bridge! We particularly like his change-up from ‘You could call me Queen Bee’ to ‘you could call me royalty’. Nice.
