After announcing the release over two months back, Jill Scott and Robert Glasper have finally unveiled their duet, Calls.
The stunning track, filled with a beautiful visual narrative, is taken from Glasper’s forthcoming new album Black Radio 2. It’s so great to hear Jill’s voice again whilst we anticipate her follow-up to 2011’s The Light of the Sun.

2012 X Factor finalist Ella Henderson has premiered a wonderful acoustic of her new single Five Tattoos.
Whilst unconfirmed, it’s likely Five Tattoos will feature on Henderson’s upcoming as-yet-untitled debut studio album, delayed now until 2014 to allow more time for creativity.

British house/breakbeat production duo Stanton Warriors have confirmed their appearance at next year’s Glastonbury 2014 Festival, marking the first act to be announced for the 5-day spectacle.
The group have been playing annually at Glastonbury’s Dance Tent since 2004, so their return marks no surprise, Announcing the news on their official Facebook page, the Warriors said ‘Glastonbury Festival (official) 2014 is a go! It will be our 10th anniversary of playing there’.

Scottish indie/rock group Travis have premiered the video to their new single Mother, interestingly filmed solely on Apple’s new iPhone 5s.
The track, set for release on 28th October, is taken from the group’s latest album Where You Stand.

Earlier this year, Ed Sheeran teased the prospect about a Lupe Fiasco collaboration, saying to Australian radio station Nova FM “We have the same A&R in America and… he just gave me about seven beats and said write choruses to all of these beats…. Lupe loved one of them and is going to hop on it. I’m a massive Lupe Fiasco fan so it’s cool.”

2010 X Factor UK runner-up Rebecca Ferguson has unveiled her new single I Hope.
Premiered last week on Graham Norton’s Radio 2 show, I Hope is the lead single off Ferguson’s forthcoming second album Freedom, of which the artwork received its world premiere earlier today.

With their third album Midnight Memories not even instores until next month, One Direction fans may be pleased to know that the group have already started writing for the follow-up.
According to The Daily Star, the group’s A&R team have already been instructed to find hits for album number four, which already has a tentative release of November 2014.
Daily Star sources have revealed “Simon and the boys know they have to ride the wave for as long as possible….Some of the world’s best songwriters have been asked to submit songs for the next album [whilst] the boys themselves are also putting pen to paper in their spare time, although they won’t get heavily involved until next year when they will have organised writing sessions.”
The album is expected to be recorded whilst the five-piece pop band head out for their Where We Are global stadium tour.
