Up-and-coming producer MNEK has worked his magic on Bastille’s new release Of The Night.
The track, which famously samples both Snap’s Rhythm Is A Dancer and Corona’s Rhythm of the Night, has been taken up several notches by the producer, and then switches up toward the end into a funking-stupour. Absolutely loving this one!!

As the world gears up for next month’s launch of Sony’s new Playstation 4 console, the gaming giant has brought us all back to earth with a clever new viral video.
According to Sony, the video is to “provide a bit of nostalgia before we look forward to PlayStation 4…. We’re proud of our heritage and how much PlayStation has meant to gamers growing up. Whether you’ve been with us from the start or are about to join us, hopefully everyone can relate to at least a little part of this.
In terms of the film, each section is representative of the whole era, lots of details even down to the dates on the ticket stubs, the magazines and the electronics help bring this piece to life. As we move into PlayStation 4 – the bike, the clothes and many of the items that haven’t actually been released help us look to the future.
When other brands heard what we were doing they were excited to get involved! Dominos gave us boxes from each of the console eras and we received support from a number of key publishers from across the gaming industry, helping us to look back at just a selection of games that many of us will remember playing and enjoying from over the years.

Taylor Swift has unveiled a brand new track, in the form of Sweeter Than Fiction.
The uptempo pop song, Swift’s first piece of new music since her 2012 LP Red, is the singer’s contribution to the soundtrack of One Chance, the new British movie based on the rise-to-fame of Britain’s Got Talent contestant Paul Potts.

The Official Charts Company have confirmed that British vocalist John Newman’s debut album Tribute has entered the top spot of the UK album charts this week.
Newman, who first caught the attention of the masses with his Rudimental collaborations, has enjoyed recent success with his solo releases Love Me Again and Cheating, both charting high (the former hitting No 1 in the Official Singles Chart in May 2013).
The rest of the Top 5 albums are also new entries, with Paul McCartney, Cher, Pearl Jam and Jonathan and Charlotte all featuring.
On the singles-side-of-things, OneRepublic return to No 1, knocking Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball off the top-spot (which moves to number two). James Blunt climbs up the chart with new single Bonfire Heart, whilst new releases from Lawson and Eminem make up the rest of the Top 5.
