British boyband One Direction have previewed a short clip of their new single Story Of My Life.
The track, set to be released next Monday (28th October) is the second single to be lifted from the group’s forthcoming third studio album Midnight Memories.

Two things you ought to know about this talented producer – he is signed to the US label ‘French Express’ (also home to Chris Malinchak) and he makes really nice music, characterised by soulful vocals and moody bass-lines.

Earlier today (21st October), the 2013 Q Awards took place in London. With gongs for the likes of Biffy Clyro, Pet Shop Boys, Foals, Vampire Weekend, Ellie Goulding and Robbie Williams, the notable absence of a win for David Bowie surprised many.
Bowie, whose 25th studio album The Next Day was released earlier this year, was nominated for six categories, including best solo artist and best act in the world.

Texas have unveiled the latest single from their new album The Conversation, by way of the infectious Dry Your Eyes.
Set for release on 18th November, Dry Your Eyes is Texas at their anthemic best, with flavours of early Blondie, rock’n’roll and an unforgettable sing-a-long chorus.
The accompanying video continues the great Texas tradition of eye-catching storylines and unusual cameos with This Is England’s Vicky McLure and Lip Services’ Ruta Gedmintas taking the starring roles alongside Sharleen Spiteri in a pub scene.

True to his word, Justin Bieber has premiered a new track, Hold Tight.
The single is the latest instalment of Bieber’s ‘Music Mondays’ series, which promotes a new track on a weekly basis, continuing up until the release of the Canadian teen-star’s new movie Believe in December.

Lady Gaga to give world-premiere performance of ‘Venus’ on X Factor UK next week
Following from the various ARTPOP-related announcements over the past few weeks (including the release of new ARTPOP-track Do What U Want earlier today), Lady Gaga’s team have confirmed that the US star is to grace the UK X Factor’s live shows this coming Sunday (27th October).
The superstar is set to give the world’s first live performance of new single Venus, set to be released the following day (28th October). After the Top 10 performance of previous single Applause, it’s likely that Gaga’s PR machine will be rolled-out as much as possible to gain as high a chart positioning as possible.
