The Arctic Monkeys have premiered the official video for new single One For The Road, the fourth release from the indie group’s current AM LP.
The unveiling of the video caps off a stellar week for the group, following an enigmatic session on BBC’s Later…. With Jools Holland as well as walking away with the gong for Best Single for Do I Wanna Know? at Monday’s Q Awards.

Seen in its minimal form at the end of their CrazySexyCool movie from earlier this week, TLC have premiered the full version of the official video for new single MTB.
The track, penned by Ne-Yo, is the group’s first posthumous body of work since Left Eye’s untimely passing in 2002, and is the lead single from the now-duo’s new LP 20.

Footage of Kanye West’s proposal to Kim Kardashian has surfaced online.
The video, captured by YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, shows the duo in the middle of the AT&T Park in San Francisco in front of a 50-piece orchestra.
After looking shocked and taking in the situation (and of course joyfully agreeing to be Mrs West), the camera zooms to the couple’s family and friends running out form the sides to congratulate the two.

Rising British vocalist Sam Smith took to Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 Maida Vale sessions this evening (23rd October), and amongst his performances, Smith played a rousing rendition of Arctic Monkeys hit Do I Wanna Know?.
Smith kept true to the original, taken from the group’s latest LP AM, however added in some stunning Sam Smith-trademark falsettos to really make it his own.

British 2011 X Factor winners Little Mix have premiered the first live performance of their new single Move on the Australian version of the hit music talent show.

According to Variety, actor Tom Hardy is set to star as legendary musician Elton John in the forthcoming Rocketman biopic.
The movie, set to start shooting toward the end of 2014, will see many of Elton John’s hit songs rerecorded by the artist himself, and will focus on the star’s life story, tracing all the way back to his childhood as a young five year-old music prodigy.
Speaking of the announcement, Warner Pictures said “Tom is quickly becoming known as one of the world’s most versatile actors, and like others at the top of their craft, he has proven his ability to transform himself completely into the character or subject found in the material… We are confident that Tom will embody the physicality and spirit of Sir Elton. This, in conjunction with the creative team led by Michael and Rocket Pictures, will provide the foundation for something that will be a unique cinematic event.”
The first episode of the eagerly-anticipated series Ja’mie: Private School Girl, has aired in Australia.
The show is the final season of Chris Lilley’s school-based comedy documentary trilogy, after We Can Be Heroes and Summer Heights High, and follows schoolgirl Ja’mie King’s return to Hillford Girls Grammar School after her stint at Summer Heights High School.
Already premiered on Australian TV station ABC1, the show is set to his US shores tomorrow (24th October) on HBO, whilst a UK airing is set to appear on BBC3 toward the end of the year.

Australian electro producer Flume has premiered the official video to his remix of Disclosure’s You and Me.
Taken from Disclosure’s debut LP Settle, You and Me features the sublime vocals of Eliza Doolittle; Flume’s remix keeps well within the boundaries of the original, whilst adding in his signature electronic undertones. Wonderful stuff.
Just two months after Miley Cyrus shocked the music world with her raunchy performance with Robin Thicke, it seems like we could be in for a replay.
With Cyrus already announced to perform at the forthcoming MTV European Music Awards in Amsterdam next month, the news that Robin Thicke has just been added to the line-up has set the industry buzzing.
Thicke and Miley both join a wealth of already-confirmed performers, including Snoop Dogg, Katy Perry, Afrojack and Imagine Dragon, and whilst the two chart-toppers are performing as soloists, event organisers have not denied a collaboration.
I guess we’ll just have to wait for the night then. The 2013 MTV EMAs is to be broadcast live on Sunday 10th November.
Timbaland has previewed a new track during a party in Belgium. The song, titled Bounce and featuring Jay Z, is widely expected to appear on Timbaland’s forthcoming album Textbook Timbo, though no release date has yet to be confirmed.
