Sir Paul McCartney has pulled out all the stops for the official video to his new single Queenie Eye.
Taken from the ex-Beatle’s latest full-length offering NEW, the video features none other than Kate Moss, Johnny Depp, Jude Law, Meryl Streep, Sir Richard Attenborough, James Cordon and Sean Penn amongst others.
Filmed earlier this month at the infamous Abbey Road Studios, the Queenie Eye visual sees Sir Paul recording the new track in what appears to be an empty studio, whilst the guest stars start filtering in one by one to a full-on party, whilst McCartney carries on unassuming.

The up-tempo Christmas track has clearly been inspired by Mariah’s staplehold on the season; whether this will cut it though (or upheave Kelly Clarkson’s valiant effort) is another argument entirely.

James Arthur took to Fearne Cotton’s Radio 1 Live Lounge earlier today, unveiling his cover of Arctic Monkeys hit Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High as his Live Lounge Cover of choice.
The performance totally strips away the Arctic’s original, underpinning a neo-soul beat with a surprisingly exciting rap by Arthur toward the middle-8. As with previous James Arthur live performances we’ve seen of late, the artist comes into his own in the last 30%, funking things up on a massive scale. Sublime.
Arthur is on a PR roll at the moment, drumming up excitement and anticipation for both his current single You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Loves You as well as his forthcoming self-titled debut album, set for release on 2nd November.

Those who recall X Factor’s 2008 year will fondly remember Laura White, the female vocalist whose shock exit as a finalist of the show caused public outrage (and even made it into the Houses of Parliament!).
After a plethora of label-offers post-show, which resulted in the brilliant You Should Have Known (though criminally failed to set the charts alight), White has been working behind the scenes over the past few years, crafting her own path into industry.
After new track Come On Josephine was previewed earlier this month, the second release from White’s forthcoming What My Mother Taught Me EP has surfaced. Jimi Hendrix oozes class and sophistication, harking back to the Frank-esque days of Amy Winehouse.
Unfortunately for White, the charts have moved on somewhat since then. However, whilst EDM-enthused pop [unfortunately] rules the roost currently, from what we’ve heard of the new EP, there could be just enough for Laura White to craft her own imprint onto the credibility scale.

Could this be the greatest Michael Jackson tribute ever? We certainly think it’s up there!
During this weekend’s halftime show of the Ohio State University’s football game against Iowa, their OSU’s famed marching band put on a breathtaking show that warmed and cheered everybody’s hearts. Not content with just playing some of Jackson’s greatest hits, including Thriller and Billie Jean, the band created a giant Jackson-esque profile, complete with white glove, before moonwalking across the stadium.
It’s a glorious tribute to the King of Pop! Check it out and share and share away!
Dido has premiered a new song, NYC.
The track is taken from the British singer’s forthcoming Dido: Greatest Hits collection, due for release 25th November, and will also feature some of the best work from the singer’s previous albums No Angel, Life For Rent, Safe Trip Home, and most recently, Girl Who Got Away.
