James Arthur has unveiled an acoustic performance of new song Get Down.
The track, taken from Arthur’s new self-titled debut album, out this week, was produced by London team Mojam, responsible for several tracks off Naughty Boy’s debut Hotel Cabana.

The video for the track, the third UK single to be release from the group’s latest [self-titled] album, is an enchanting mix of live performance as well as fan-hyteria story, where we witness two fans break into [lead singer] Hayley Williams’ dressing room before the concert after travelling an age to be there.

In a surprise move, Canadian artist Celine Dion has premiered a cover of Daniel Merriweather’s hit Water and a Flame.
The track, which featured British diva Adele in its original guise, has been rerecorded by Dion for her forthcoming album Loved Me Back to Life, featuring the likes of Ne-Yo, Stevie Wonder and Babyface.

Ed Sheeran has announced a new track, I See Fire. Taken from the upcoming movie The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Sheeran’s contribution will feature on the end credits of the anticipated follow-up to 2012’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
I See Fire is Sheeran’s first solo release in over two years, however the British star has confirmed that the track will not be included on his forthcoming sophomore album set to his shelves next year.

Iconic London club Ministry of Sound has posted an open letter to London Mayor Boris Johnson regarding the venue’s continued battle to keep the area from closure.
A 2011 proposal to build a 40-storey block of flats next to the club’s location originally sparked fears that this may lead to the venue’s closure, however the plans were rejected in October of that year. However, the planners of the development have appealed, with another hearing scheduled for 26th February 2014.
Regarding the projected development, club owner James Palumbo spoke with London newspaper The London Evening Standard earlier this year, saying “the bottom line is if they build that block of flats, we are going to close. If you’ve got a flat in the second floor in that building, you’d object to the noise”.
