Following her controversy (again!) at this weekend’s MTV European Music Awards where she smoked a joint onstage, Miley Cyrus has made her way to BBC’s Radio 1 to continue promotion of her new album Bangerz
Taking to the much-heralded ‘Live Lounge’, Cyrus unveiled Lana Del Rey’s Summertime Sadness as her Live Lounge Cover of choice, and we’ve been left impressed!

South London producer Sampha has premiered the AA-side to Drake-solo Too Much with new track Happens.
Taking similar cues to the Too Much video, premiered last week, the visual to Happens is completely stripped back, focusing on Sampha’s piano keys whilst clearly opening up his heart on this submissive track.

After providing the soundtrack to his year’s heartwarming John Lewis Christmas TV commercial, it seems Lily Allen could be close to unveiling her long-awaited new material.
The singer sent the ‘Twittersphere’ into a spin earlier today (12th November), by confirming there was ‘news’ to come at 3pm this afternoon.

When the clock hit 3pm, users were sent over to Lily’s official website, and treated to what seems like a still from a forthcoming video.
Lily had originally announced some time ago that new material was to be expected in March 2014, however could the success of the John Lewis tie-in have tentatively brought this forward? We’ll be there to report on anything that happens as and when it does! In the meantime, check the image below:

US trio HAIM brought New Zealand rising star Lorde on stage last night, to assist in a cover of Sheryl Crow’s hit Strong Enough.
The performance, filmed for VH1’s inaugural You Oughta Know concert, concluded HAIM’s live show, which incorporated hits Falling, The Wire and Forever.

Here’s one for MKS fans (particularly the ‘M’ bit); Mutya Buena has collaborated with fairly-new artist Shide Boss on new single Bedroom.
The mid-tempo R&B ballad goes some way to show the vocal abilities of Shide, made all the better by Buena’s inclusion. For fans that have been eager to hear new music from Buena since her reformation with her former bandmates, this should definitely help tie you by.

After a fairly lengthy publicity spin, Future’s video for Real and True has finally landed.
The futuristic visual, which fetters Miley Cyrus and Mr Hudson, is a fairly cinematic affair, hardly a surprise when you realise the whole piece was shot by acclaimed producer/photographer Rankin.

If rumours are to be believed, HAIM are set to duet with Lorde at this evening’s forthcoming ‘You Oughta Know’ concert.
The concert, the organiser VH1’s inaugural event, is also set to feature performances by Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sande and The Lumineers.
