Madonna has announced plans for a major world tour in celebration of her 40th anniversary in the business.
Dubbed ‘Madonna: The Celebration Tour’, the announcement came via an iconic video which nodded to her groundbreaking film ‘Truth or Dare’, and features a star-studded cast including the likes of Diplo, Jack Black, Lil Wayne and Amy Schumer. Toward the end of the clip (which you can watch below), Schumer dares Madonna to go on a tour and perform her four decades of hits.
‘The Celebration Tour’ will see the superstar hit 35 cities across the globe, and kicks off on 15th July in Vancouver. European-wise, Madonna will also play stints in Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam and Stockholm, whilst she will also grace London’s O2 Arena on 14th October as her only UK show. Update: four more shows have been added due to overwhelming demand.
