Jessie Ware has become the first major artist to confirm a performance at next year’s Glastonbury Festival.
On the day when 2020’s festival was to officially open, Jessie shared the latest episode of her hugely-successful Table Manners podcast featuring special guest Emily Eavis, where they sat down (albeit virtually) to discuss everything from this year’s cancellation all the way through to the food venues and performances. During the chat, Emily questioned whether Jessie would want to return – “So Jessie, are you up for coming back next year?”, with the obvious reply “Absolutely, 100%… I’ll be there… with bells on.”
Ware’s new album ‘What’s Your Pleasure’ is out later this week, and she was due to bring the house-focused record to Glastonbury’s dance area over the weekend.
