Charli XCX has announced a brand new album, set to be recorded whilst in isolation from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Revealing the working title ‘how i’m feeling now’ on an intimate Zoom call with fans, Charli revealed she would be using “this isolation time to make a brand new album from scratch”. The project is set to land on 15th May and arrives a year on from her third studio album, last year’s ‘Chari’.
All tracks and artwork will be created by the singer from her home – “The idea of the album is that’s it’s going to be very DIY, very indicative of the times we’re in. I’m basically going to be making it live, from scratch. I’m only really going to be using the tools that I have at my fingertips, the people I can reach online, the things I have in my house, to create my music, my artwork, my videos, everything”.
